One is 6 hours long, the other one is would be like 50 hours.
One is worth 20 bucks, other is worth 60 bucks.
One is a sort of Add on to a previous one, the other one is a sequel.
One of them them took less than a year to make, other took 3 years.

If it was GtaV vs Killzone 2, then I'll understand. But DLC? Seriously?
It will sell, but it's not like it's going to get reviewed right?

Or God Of War 3. I know some one who works at a sony game studio in west london and he has seen GoW 3. and i cant tell u it makes killzone2 graphic look last gen. u would be suprised what the ps3 can REALLY do. I cant talk to much cause he might lose his job.....

No ammount of DLC can make people forget how bad GTA:IV actully sucked.

People brought GTA:IV but many regreted it, why would people want to buy more or a bad game, it was barely fun.

Playing GTA:IV for me was like a Chore or smth.

Nobody should be surprised by what the PS3 can do. I just started playing Uncharted again since it has trophies and I got an HDTV. It looked great on an old TV but even better in HD. And that was an early game. I can't wait to see Uncharted 2. Uncharted is what the new Tomb Raider should have been but I guess isn't. That's what happens though when you make a multiplatform game.

it's like the story about david versus goliath. gta4 dlc is david and ps3 is the goliath, the thing is there is going to be a twist in the story, because goliath will surely demolish, obliterate, destroy david. aww. i feel sad for david now.

lol you seriously think that gta4 dlc is going to be a better value than kz2? i mean, its my guess, but the dlc is probably going to be ~$20 range, which means that it needs to have approx. 1/3 the value of kz2, and that is taking into account not only the seemingly epic single player campaign, but also the replay value from multiplayer, which, if it follows in call of duty 4's footsteps, is going to add a LOT of time, in some instances, hundreds of hours of replay value. trying to claim that dlc is going to trump that in value is a pretty stupid argument.

Killzone 2, well.. I kinda doubt that there will be alot of people from the PS2 making the jump for Killzone 2.
I don't see that happening.

I mean, Killzone 1 wasn't that great of a title.. However, GTA:SA was incredible.

Killzone 2 will probably sell well, but not what I think some people are expecting it to.

- but you are forgetting that GTA4 was multi-plat so, many people had the choice in getting a cheaper X360 for that game.

in another note: Killzone 2 is the second tittle besides MGS4 on the PS3 that has the same level/amount of HYPE as GeoW or at least is comparable to Halo on that aspect. -and who gonna care about a DLC for a year old game? what the DLC could offer that would be so amazing that many people would get motivated to pay for it and start playing the game again?

=a new ground-breaking sequel with the best graphics in this gen of an old disappointing game "VS" a DLC for a year old game. the media have been saying only good things about KZ2 so far.

BTW Killzone 1 was good. you should play it first instead of saying what everybody's been saying because that's as bad as all the people that still say that the PS3 doesn't has games.

Judging by all the great things many web sites and the people in the beta have been saying about KZ2 hell even Kotaku couldn't even find anything bad to say about KZ2 (and I'm sure they were biting there lip about post that comment). And for GTA yes many people have played GTA b4 and know the rep of the game but this game fell short and many people have said this including myself and this DLC is too late to give it enough hype anymore the game came out in April 08, 10 months later the $50 million DLC finally shows and the flame for his game burned out 8 months ago when the DLC might have made an impact but the only ones keeping this flame alive it M$ out of desperation that they need this to sell to make there money back.

@cereal_killa - I'm not putting down Killzone 2 in any way. I just don't think it will be as big of a hit as GTA4 was.. again, I'm only speaking on the PS3, not the 360. I believe Killzone 2 will do well, and it is a great game, I've played it, but I just don't see it being as big of a hit as GTA was.. And, you say GTA was disappointing.. I agree, at least compared to San Andreas. But, the game got great reviews and many people ate that up, before the masses pointed out how much of a disappointment it was.

DLC (games and extra content) have never gone past the 300k or so mark... and people didn't particularly like GTA4 enough to splash out more cash on it

we know KZ2 will be awesome because gameplay has been shown and all the reports point to 10 on the outstanding meter.. all we know about DLC for GTA4 is that it involves playing as a stereotypical American biker bloke... great
