EA Sports: Athletes Must Smile On Wii Game Boxes

Tracey John writes:

"In reviewing the box art of new game releases every week, we noticed that every EA Sports "All-Play" cover for the Wii features a smiling athlete.

It's even more noticeable if you compare them to the covers of the same titles released on other platforms.

When we sat down with EA Sports chief Peter Moore last week, we asked him why there are grinning athletes on the box art of their Wii-only sports titles."

2.2 - Thankfully
the box art already gives off that vibe. I'd hate to think of real sports fans who own Wiis buying a Wii sports game because they thought it would be as good as the titles on other consoles, just with waggle control.

3 - Wii EA Sports game bite the big one....
...seriously, if you have a choice between the PS2 version even and the Wii, get yourself the PS2 version.

The Wii is VERY child-oriented, considering that the Wii is the console that scared parents buy their little ones. So to make it more kid-friendly, they decide on a smiling Brett Favre instead of the usual "I have to take a sh!t"-faced Brett Favre.
