I disagree there.Left4Dead is a game by Valve.When Valve is making a game,the whole world is paying attention.When a risky concept game like Valkyria Chronicles is released,it receives good to great reviews yet it barely sells 15,000 on release.Left4Dead is selling tons on the PC and 360 therefore its not a sleeper hit.

I am truly glad Sega WOW delivered Valkyria Chronicles which is by far one of the most refreshing games in a long time.

L4D isn't a sleeper hit by any stretch of the imagination. I'm sure it's sales are already topping the charts at least in the US. It has been receiving a fair amount of hype, and probably some people's most anticipated game. It may not go up against Gears very well, but the PC crowd will eat it up.

I think even Braid received more hype than VC. For example, I remember an episode of the 1UP Show with Braid, but they haven't even mentioned VC (to my knowledge).

They're all great games though, and all deserve attention.

On a side note, what's up with the pictures in the article? Something tells me the Singstar and The World Ends with You screenshots aren't representative of the actual games.

World of Goo is a great game but no where near as good as LBP. Braid wasn't a sleeper, it had the crap marketed out of it and where is Valkyria Chronicles?

5 - Where's Dead Space?
I'm sorry, but a lot of people thought Dead Space was going to fail, since it was being developed by EA. But it turned out great.

It's my sleeper hit of the year.

Was so sick in my opnion it ruled beat it 2x already working on the impossible mode now .
Def. sleeper my uncle help develop it and that is the only reason I cared really I was going to rent it but I bought it to support him and cant say enough about the game. When I put Gears 2 RES2 LBP and fallout on hold to play it it is saying something to me at least

Bad list, I've seen 3x more attention on Braid than VC. The World Ends with You is good but I wouldn't say it's a great game.

wtf is this?? 1st,world of goo is NOT better the LBP,and second i cant believe they didnt have Valkyria chronicles on there... that was the #1 sleeper hit for me and alot of others out there... dead space to me wasnt really a sleeper since i new alot of people that bought it and the hype was pretty good,i mean,i won an E3 award so theres a good part of it right there.

Siren: Blood Curse (how can people forget this game!!!)

i personally wouldn't say Dead Space.. it had fairly good previews and was advertised somewhat.
