Fumito Ueda on Famitsu: "The new game is based on contact"

Speaking briefly on this week's Famitsu, Fumito Ueda said that his new game for PlayStation 3 will be based on physical connection, similar to his previous two games, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.

I want to make a contact with their new game.

"We are creating a game that its function is not just to kill time".
Well, for me both ICO and Shadow of Colossus were more like an adventure than something to kill some free time.
If they're making a game with 2 or 2.5 years life span that could be something amazing.
I guess it's a part of next-gen gaming. Depth and replayability.

I want to see something, SOMETHING!!!!

Curious how it will look, SCEJ hasn't exactly been as up to par on tech as their overseas counterparts lately. Regardless the gameplay and story will be amazingly excellent, always is! Not to mention the best art direction out there.

If it's anything near Shadow of the Colossus I'm already sold...
Those battles with the Giants where one of the best 'Boss battles' I have ever experienced, truly epic and HUGE... Especially the flying Colossus, those where the best for me...

And I don't think it will be all about the graphics, It's more the art design and that feeling that you are experiencing something especial, something unique... Few games can do that to you... At least this is my opinion...

Can't wait for their next project...

I agree SOTC was truly a 1 in a million type of game.

I'm really,really hoping whatever their making has more of those giant epic boss battles.

I want to fight giants the size of mountains in 1080P !!

You knows what's sad, I never got around to playing Colossus, but I loved ICO. Really should pick that game up. Think i saw it at bestbuy for like $10 a little while back.
