EA is getting dumber and dumber it seems. First they try to make you buy guns in Battlefield: Bad Company, and now its cars in NFS:Undercover. Next year with Star Wars: The Old Republic we will have to pay $5 for a lightsaber and $10 for a Jedi robe. EA is getting worse and worse with their idea of micro transactions.

bombo, thats not the point. Game companies are reducing the amount of content that should have been included in the retail version. Imagine paying for a car that was once free or unlockable in the previous game. Imagine paying for the Celtics team just to use them in NBA Live. That would suck huh? That's what these companies are doing right now. Well not as dramatic as that but you get the point.

Yes, we all know theres a market for DLC but they're taking advantage of it. I don't want to see purchasable DLC ready in the first week of the games release. That tells me they already made that crap and they still didn't want to include it? If its free then that's ok with me but paying for DLC when the game is still at its launch period is ridiculous.

Bombo is right on. EA has always sucked. The true test will be how many idiot gamers out there support this model. Big companies tank all the time. With the decisions and announcements made by EA and Activision lately--gamers can only hope those companies are on their way down.

As one of the gaming sites mentioned, the only thing that will kill WoW will be Activision/Blizzard--anyone want to take a stab at how long until WoW implodes from corporate greed/mis-steps?

I mean they already have expansions coming very soon. It used to be a company makes a FULL game and then they make another FULL game as an expansion. Now its "Oh you want those extra parts we didnt feel like throwing in? $20 please."

Hmmmm, I still say the most evil one with microtransaction is Namco Bandai. The contents are all in the disc, you need to pay a ridiculous amount just to use it. Yoda/Darth Vader for $5???? that's already in the disc.

I just played the Mirrors Edge demo couple days ago and it was incredible, I felt as though EA is finally back on track. EA don't ruin this for me, if I find out that there will be "Faith's special edition rainbow colored shoe laces for $1.99 or robotic legs required to pass the second stage for a fee of $4.99". I will boycott all EA products and I will also tell everyone on my PSN to do the same.

P.S. Come on EA, are you guys not making enough money? $60 a game should be profitable enough!? To all the retards who are buying into this crap, STOP IT.
