LBP Patch 1.01

LittleBigPlanet has seen it's first patch this morning for anyone with the game already (or at least the European version) taking the game to version 1.01. Interestingly, it appears the song in question is still there, we're assuming they've removed, censored or looped around the troublesome content, though.

believe it or not, some people wont play this game online. Some people's consoles are not even hooked up to the net. Sony has to cover every base possible

The recall was a PR move. There would have been a lot of BAD PR had they allowed the game to ship with the track as it was. There are at least SOME people who aren't yet on PSN who would buy the game.

The recall was just for media primetime. Why else would they recall hundreds of thousands of discs... it make no sense.

the problem with a patch only is that the people without online wouldn't be able to get it. at least not instantly.

Walmart actually still has this game on their shelves as of last night. I was tempted to go and get it. I called over the phone and they said it was $59.74. The only thing holding me back is that circuit city was to sell this game with a $15 gift card. With the amount of games coming out from now till Christmas, I need all the discounts I can get.

7 - The Patch Should be a forced download.
Then no one could go online until the download, so everyone would download it and there everyone should be happy, unless you want to argue. I respect Sony a lot more to see that they respect peoples beliefs and hope they try in the futures to fix the problems before the game releases, though the delay doesn't bug me and I hope it doesn't bother all of you. You should always respect others, if you want to be respected yourself.

P.S. I don't mean to accuse anyone. Trust me the games going to feel a lot better now when it comes out. Hope all of you are still going to get the game I know I will be.
