Who is ready for all their hard earned WoW 70 Raid gear they worked months to get to be completely crap by some 72 green item?!?

On topic: I am blown away this game is being made for DVD only. I am sure theres still quite a few people who might not have DVD players in the PCs.

I am pretty sure a large percentage of wow players have a DVD player, They have been standard for years now, and are really cheap if you need one.

And if you are really hard pressed, yuo can download the client eventually.

Service Pack 3 XP only?

Over two thirds of XP users have Service Pack 2. These have to be wrong.

I have a feeling Blizzard is putting the SP3 part in there just to cover there bases. They always recommend upgrading to the latest drivers, etc with any game to avoid issues. It would not surprise me in the least if it ran under SP2 as well.

They always put the latest version in the requirements, but in reality, it will most likely work fine with older versions. For example, Half-Life 2's minimum requirements are Windows XP, but it works in Windows 2000. In fact, a patch released recently for HL2 fixed a bug for Windows 2000 users.
