WAR vs WOW - Blizzard "copies" Scenarios

According to wowinsider who has quoted this post by Tigole, Blizzard is announcing some changes to the current battleground system. The changes reflect a direct competitive move from Blizzard to counter Mythic's Warhammer Online.

Who gives a toss. Everyone copies each other, especially in the video game industry and ESPECIALLY mmo's where WoW was based off other MMOs and many WAR features are based on WoW.

Warcraft is a copy of Warhammer anyhow, has always been.. so why would they stop now?

WAR as a game has way better pvp system compared to WOW, so wise move from Blizzard, I support this. I hope they copy many other things as well, so I can go back to WOW. Now WAR is the game!

we all win no matter which game we are playing, as long as they keep copying the GOOD features and not the bad.

Neither wow nor war can take credit for orcs, elves, wizards and all that kind of good fantasy stuff, it all comes from the master of fantasy: J.R.R Tolkien.

They are both copies of lotr while warhammer inverted the human elf relationship to a human dwarven relationship. Warcraft maintained it and tweak a few few things.

copy this copy that. since tolkien created the modern fantasy genre that everyone jus imitates the master. even dragonlance novelists admit that.

i love warcraft lore but it imitates everything so much. read a dragonlance novel and u will see.

In the mainstream I can agree with this comment. However, with that being said you should really check out the parallels between the LOTR universe and Norse Mythology, the Norse were the ones who created the existence of Dwarves, Elves, and the term "Middle Earth" comes from the term "Midgard", these were picked up by later authors and artists.
