IGN PAX 2008: Gears of War 2 Multiplayer

IGN writes: "One of the most popular games at PAX is Gears of War 2 at the Microsoft booth. The booth featured ten stations set up for five-on-five multiplayer. And these stations were not only never empty, but the line to get some face time with the Locust was consistently four or five deep. On tap at PAX this morning was the Guardian multiplayer game where two teams of five set upon each other to hunt down the single Guardian, a designated player that -- while alive -- allows his teammates to re-spawn when killed".

So who will take care of the sales Pool? I am willing to bet gears will still sell more, anybody rdy to put there money where there mouth is?

Still can't wait for resistance 2 though, Insomniac are the bomb. Fall will be a great time for shooter fans, some great console shooters coming out.

Apparently i have so little bubbles, i have reverted to being a man of sony, to gain them back.

This game looks good, but not sure if worth buying a 360 for. My friend had 5 360's break and he said it's the biggest POS ever. I'm not sure, because i've never owned one. "bigger and more bad ass!" the kids will eat it up.

That and Horde are some of the most interesting features to me. But lets be frank, Gears is hardly the first game to allow you to use a "human" shield, but its always a fun addition..
