Looks like demand for ps3 is just getting higher and higher !

Maybe ps2 owners are starting to come over ? I know loads of people who just waited for more people to have it and now most of my m8s have 1 lol.

MS must be starting to worry, since the 360 price is much lower and demand is still decreasing.

both have had some.. like 8 in bb and like 3 in walmart.. just in case someone is looking for some.. i got mine last week from amazon and it has gotten sold out in amazon twice but they get restocked like in 2 days...

ordering from amazon with next day shipping its only $15 more which is great.. since there is no tax is pretty worth it, you end up saving $15 or if you wait 5 days you would save $30 either way amazon is starting to be where i shop a lot

Often times when Best buy's stock is out online...they say there is none in the store...so you can no do the in store pick up. So do not put much stock in to the idea of all the stores being out.

i'm pretty sure both microsoft and sony (cant speak for nintendo)

are trying to meet holiday demand more than they are summer demands..

sony had a drought just before mgs4 release

microsoft is probably concerned with meeting demand during gears of war 2 release

sony is concerned with LBP and Resistance 2 (i hope for their sake they are taking SOCOM into consideration as well, lots of PS2 owners who are waiting for socom to upgrade to the ps3)

Though, it depends on the status as an all-around gaming machine which the PS3, PS2 is and the Wii is not.

The white sheen of the Wii reminds me of the white coat of the rabbit, and the shape of the hard shelled PS3 reminds of the shell of a turtle, that analogy has been working well with Sony no need to ditch it

The new 80GB PS3 for $399 has been in the Top 10 in Amazon.com's Video Games section ever since it was first avaliable and the 80GB PS3 MGS4 bundle was ALWAYS in the Top 10 whenever Amazon.com had stock.... it's pretty obvious that Microsoft almost has no choice but to resort to a price drop in Sept. because if they don't, the PS3 will totally own the rest of this year without a doubt.

It's just funny that the 360 has so many more games and it's cheaper, but the PS3 still continues to do damage like it's nothing.

But, my prediction for August's NPD is the Playstation 3 outselling the Xbox 360.

I can tell you this. I work at best buy part time home theatre in mass and last night we had 2 ps3's left on the floor and in the stock room there were only 6 left. The thing is with those 6 we have to save them for next weeks labor day sale. They are selling as fast as we get them in. People are starting to see the advantages of the system not to mention blu ray. Oh and by the way there were about 25 to 30 360's in the stockroom. From elites to arcades. Ps3's are flying off the shelf.

I just seen some vids of the game from the ps store,, and it is an ugly game with really bad animation. I hate to say this because Im the biggest Sony fanboy at heart, but Im far from biased, I have my reasons why I like Sony way more then the 360. Alas, we will see whats up with the game this Friday as thats when the beta will start. I just have this wretched feeling in my gut that I will be disappointed. This gen has been marred by franchises that should be exclusive going multiplatform, while the XKiddes were always about what PlayStation franchises Microsoft could steal, I'm someone who believes that consoles should be defined by their exclusive titles.
