On a serious note however, judging on the demo this game was a huge disapointment, it was this and Gears which were going to get me to turn on my 360, but now i will barely play it til November now

I still feel NG2 was a beter exclusive title this year - peerless combat mechanics despite some other disapointments.

Not that this is awful - its just not ultra-brilliant for the majority of us!

they had play testers, there must have been someone to say hey look.. this looks like crap ! or the camera is broken and needs fixing.

at which point i am sure Mr Dyack would have stormed in " you don't get it do you ! your fired ! "

give you an example, my bro is a play tester and he is currently testing a game that all the ps3 owners have been getting quite happy about. now he heard the devs talking about said game and wanted to change something which he felt was not needed, but he didn't want to say anything less it fall on def ears.

The thing with too human is that right from E3 first showing a lot was said about the cam etc, you would think they would have picked up on it.

Reviews matter and don't matter kind of. The thing is that there will always be people who like a game no matter what, and people who don't like a game no matter.

The thing with too human is that its not just the few who are saying its bad, its the majority. its not just the reviewers, its gamers as well. and it is the more technical issues that people are saying have issues.

let me put it this way. MGS 4 is a great game. Most people love it, some people like it but find fault, and some people just don't like it at all, its not their sort of game. One thing everyone agrees on is the production value of the game is of the highest standard, graphics etc. weather you get the story or like the story is another matter, but you can't deny its one of the best looking games so far. i am a 360 fan and even i will say its a game everyone should play.

now, with too human... some may like the story some may not, but in the same light, the production value is just not that great. The graphics are average, things like the animation are almost substandard for a next gen game. now i am still going to get the game because i am interested in the story, but i won't pretend that all the other things don't matter because this is what i am interested in. think about how great it would have been if it had the story and the graphics, music, animation etc to match. Thats what Mr D.D does not seem to understand. A lot of people who dislike or are hatting on the game are doing so, not because of the story or because of the mix in gameplay, but simply because the graphics are average and other aspects of the game are not what you would expect from a " next gen title ".

people will say graphics are not everything, no they are not, but they are part of what makes the whole. if the game is fun, but the graphics are crap then it should be stated, not brushed under the rug.

NG2 had a great combat system, but the camera was bad. it was a fun game with a bad camera. some people didn't mind, but that didn't fix the camera.

The reviews have said what they have said based on what they have played. sure, people should try it for themselves, but even if they like it, does not change the fact it could have been better and some of the technical issues should just be overlooked. they need pointing out so the next game does not suffer the same problems. although, it prob will anyway as SK don't seem to be listening to anything anyone is saying about the game " we like the game, thats all that matters ".

anyway, i am just talking crap myself.

like i said. i will still get the game cos i like a game with a good story. not going to excuse its failings and pretend they don't have any impact on my enjoyment of the game.

i may enjoy the game, but i could have enjoyed it more had the camera been fleshed out. it may impress me, but it could have impressed me a lot more had the graphics and animation been pushed a lot harder.

thats what makes a good game a great game, and a great game a true master piece !

don't jump on the anti-toohuman bandwagon if you are really interessted.

the camera is a total non-issue - its really just a matter of getting used to. to say toohuman plays bad or it looks bad must be joke... I am one hell of a grafics whore - yes there are some really ugly spots but on the other hand toohuman has some of the most impressive grafical moments ever.

this game is sooo deep, I bet most of the reviewers didn't get it at all and never seen half of the game.

yes there are lots of flaws (not more than masseffect has) but nothing is a gamebreaker at all. its genius piece of software for ME - no matter what anybody is trying to tell me and I hope you guys don't miss it because some dumb reviews and give it a try or you could miss something really special.

its worth a try - not a demo try - you need at least 3-4h to understand all its features. it should have been more polished - it's the start of a trilogy, it had lots and lots of develop time but it's still one hell of a game.

well , i beg to differ...

most of the people i know who have either played the demo, or played the game think it is crap. most of the reviews think its crap... you say their opinion does not count and thats what i am pointing out, its not just them its the gamers. to me the gamers are just as divided on this.

going by the posts i have read on this site, again some are loving it, some not... no worries, i have said i will get it, in a few hours i will let you know what i think of the full game.

i have played the demo twice, it was the story that convinced me that i would get it and the fact that there is nothing else for me to play.

its not about jumping on the hate wagon or anything, its what i think of the game based on what i have played with the demo and what i have heard from other people and read and as i said. just because a game is fun does not mean i will excuse its failings.. i didn't with mass effect, i didn't with bioshock etc.

@LarVanian- Agreed... The concept was good but Silicon Knights just ruined it. Graphics were bad and while the story was good, the gameplay sucked too.
