I've been trolling Too Human news because trolling is fun, but I have to say this: In the the end it doesn't matter how many bad games a console have, it's the good games that count.

A console with 99 bad games and 5 good games is still better than a console with no bad games and 2 good games(of course it also depends on how good those two games are).

Im not quite sure what you're trying to imply. You added a variable in there that contradicted your whole statement. Like you said, it depends on how good those 2 games are. But thats besides the point.

Too Human is a love it or hate it kind of game. It'll get low scores and high scores that appeal to different types of gamers.

Any game is a love it or hate it kind of game, some people hated MGS4 or GeOW and some like lair and will like too human, it all depends on your taste.

So very true. Too Human is maybe an extreme flop, especially when you take into account the long development time that went into it. Games like Haze and Lair didn't even take half as long and have gotten better scores.

Reviews are only one persons opinion of the game. Just because it's from IGN or Gamespot doesn't mean that the entire website rated said game and averaged out the score. People take reviews far to seriously. All it takes is the reviewer being a small bit biased and the entire site is flamed. And I agree, most of these people on forums calling games (Too Human, Haze, Lair, etc.) "flops" do not even play these games. I guess anonymity gets to peoples heads.

Its the trusted websites backlash vs metric ratings

When you can have 80 reviews count and really only maybe 10-30 true gaming sites with true pro's getting paid to show up and wrtie about games you dont want to get lost in the shuffle!

They're human beings just like us. Their opinions need not be pondered any more so than the average joe just because more people take notice.

Who cares why they think and score the way they do...it is..or should be anyway, inconsequential to how you receive a game. That's what demos, borrowing, and videos are for.

People, whether they have a job in the industry or not, will think how they bloody well think.

I'm afraid this one was doomed from the start. Wasn't this supposed to be part one of a trilogy? Wow. Brave.

But to all the PS3 guys who are hell bent on the 360's failure, I just have to say, c'mon, they can't all be great. That's a lesson you guys learned the hard way with Lair and Haze. You laugh so much, and that's cool, but you don't think that the PS3 won't have anymore over-hyped flops? It just happens from time to time, no matter which console you have.

That's OK, who needs Too Human? Anyone who played the demo has known for awhile that the game is mediocre at best. XBLA just got the highest-rated game ever, Braid, which is a work of art. And we still have Fable II and Gears 2 on the way in '08, just off of the top of my head.

Yeah, I've been poking fun at Too Human and 360 fans. It's just playful payback for the 360 fans gloating over the PS3 fans last year. Two wrongs truly do make a right :)
