Man, it would really be great if this and GOWIII came out in back to back months. I really wish we'd been given more info on the release of GOWIII at E3! Assuming it makes it in 2009, the PS3 is poised to have another killer year in 09.

this has a crap load of particles. thats more particles than any game in existence. look how many sparks bounce around. there's hundreds of them on screen at once.

I highly doubt that GTA is going to be very difficult to surpass graphically. Sony Studios know their system better than anybody else ( I would atleast hope ) so I don't think there's any doubt of it looking better. The lighting is showing off the sony flare allready. They really have got lighting cracked down in their games.

Looks like the kind of open world game I've been waiting for.

i remember watching an interview and they said electricity is his only power, but that they will be using it in loads of ways, from what i have seen they have alot of things they can do with it, not to mention the climbing everywhere and bombing on cars lol.

is it that the electricity powers seem kind of unsatisfying? don't get me wrong, i'm a sucker punch fan, but i'm having trouble getting excited for this game. i doubt they'd do it, but i wish they'd just let you use guns. also the enemies ("reapers") are kind of cheesy.

but i bet they can pull it off :P

Dylan's "Stage 1," electricity powers, and they'll eventually take the wraps off of his higher level abilities.

i loved the Sly Cooper games, so i have high hopes for this one.

it's looking damn good, and the only negative thing i can say about it is that it slipped from it's 2008 release to 2009, but that just means more polishing and tweaking (and adding trophies, i'm sure).

an inFamous HOME space would probably be really cool. they should let you use your avatar instead of Coles after you beat the story mode in the game. then it can be you roaming around Empire City (? i think that's the name), with electricity bits. or even better, they should let you choose to use some of the various enemies and "super-villain's" powers as bonus extras after the main campaign is done. considering that it was implied that the game has multi-player, it wouldn't surprise me if the breadth of abilities is beyond simply electricity.

Poindat... is it maybe that he is zapping thugs (all looking like clones of each other... why?) with electricity and they shrug it off? And that the whole atmosphere seems anticlimatic even though guys are randomely shooting when you show up and cars are being tossed by you? Just seems like when you watch this it is like " la di da di da... hhhmmmm what seems to be going on here? Guys having issues with each other... let me move on. la di da di da..)

Where is the emersive music, screams of bedestrians? The NOISE of it all? The game has potential but I rate it right around Assasin's Creed level currently. And that is not necessarily a bad thing. Just needs some work.

Also, with electricity comes magnetic potential, wasn't sure if that was what I was seeing with the cars or was it just explosions without explosion sounds? Maybe harnessing it as a defensive shield ricochette bullets from him could be interesting? I see he was helping a random heart attack victim by giving a quick blot to her chest. Seems kind of funny if that is going to be a routine thing of pedestrians having heart attacks through out the city. lol

It seems like most people who do these demonstrations suck at playing the game. Which is a shame because they put a bad light on the game.

Personally, I'm excited for this game. Just being able to scale anything and everything effortlessly like that seems incredible. Plus with Karma affecting your powers you can play through the game so many ways. Play through once as a good guy, the next you just destroy everything and kill civilians.
