Too Human Demo Most Downloaded Action Demo Yet

Microsoft has just announced that Xbox Live demo downloads of Too Human have passed the 900,000 mark. According to Microsoft, this makes it the most downloaded action demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

There are like 10million xbox live members at the very least. 900,000 download a FREE demo and Microsoft feels the need to announce it. At least there aren't announcing the number of achievements unlocked in the first 24hrs:D

@DJ- If it is worthless then why are you commenting on it.

Back on topic, MS may feel that people are highly anticipating this game due to all of the demo downloads. Does that actually equivilate to gauranteed sales, no. Also, they maybe hyping up the game to ensure the hoopla and generate more sales which would make any developer happy. A happy developer means more games will be on their way.

850,000 likely deleted it soon after. because the HDD is limited. uh, yeah.

but this game was in the interest of many gamers because of the love/hate thing in the media so a lot of people were curious how this game was.

it just went Gold so hopefully the full version will be good.

That's because you assume most of those 900000 actually have any idea about the controversy. It may seem evident to you and me, but remember that a large majority of 360 owners and live subscribers have never visited a site like n4g, joystiq etc. Most people just go "hey there's a demo to download".

On topic: I think it's the most downloaded ever becuase its been the only one available for quite some time. Also, 900000 out of what? 20 mill? That doesn't seem like a lot to me, more like 4.5%, aka: nothing. Love it myself though.

A spin on words. Here's a spin;

People download Too Human more often because they're curious as to how much the game sucks. The game sucks so badly, every 360 owner spreads the word so that their friends can experience the suckiness that is "Too Human". Too Human to date is the most disappointing Action Demo yet based on the sales of the actual retail copy of Too Human.

Awesome! Not many demo's make it into the top 10 most played games on Live so it's a good sign that people are trying and enjoying the demo. I do hope it converts into sales for SK.

Out of all my mates with 360's I was the only one looking forward to TooHuman. Turns out all my mates really like it and i'm the only one who doesn't.

I wont slag it off I really liked the style and story. It's the controls that I don't like.

confused with live arcade demos.

Like I u I delete demos off my 360 also without playing them but that's because my 360 is set to automatically download the trial version of arcade games. If you go thru the hassle of finding a demo like Too Human, downloading it, then deleting it without even playing the game to get a feel for it.

You got a lot of time on your hands buddy.....

I've always been one to love the games that dont get the attention they deserve Psychonaughts, Shadow of the Colossus, Viva Pinata etc.. I'm even really looking forward to Brutal Legend. As for Too Human, I do not understand what people see in this game. I'm one of those people who downloaded that demo. I hated it.

I can't wait for 09/19/2008. This games was once ment for my PS1. Now it has been fully realized for the XBOX360. If the Demo speaks in any way of what to expect from the full game, then D@MN it PS3 fan bring on your gauntlet of hate and wish death on this 360 exclusive as much as you want. 21 - I have played this demo extensively
... and it is sci-fi Diablo. It's addictive. It *will* sell 1 Million + I guarantee.

I know when a game has "the touch" and this one brings "the touch" --- they have captured Diablo and thrown in some crazy-styled Sci-fi that's on par with Mass Effect.

This game will be a massive success and it is a very important title for 360.

Seriously why do you haters all feel the need to try and trash SK and Too Human. Fine you didn't like the game (if you actually played it) but it's pretty clear that there is a large portion of people that did enjoy it.

So given that 900,000+ have downloaded it I think it's pretty safe to say this game will get to the 1 million in sales mark especially since this game is ranking so high as a demo on LIVE since its release.

It wont be a gigantic hit given its still fairly niche...but its going to do very well for itself.

You should of just passed it with a lil smirk and gone to the next article. I for one have downloaded this game and loved every minute of it. The positive previews have been thru the roof and the word is obviously out. Their was a lot of doubt about this game a few months ago but all that doubt is gone. It looks like we have a winner.
