1 - Mortal Kombat is just a series that needs to die already
I would rather see Marvel vs. Dc , but then Marvel would have way more characters. Let me sit on this for a sec, im sure I can think of something better than this crap. Wait I got it, how bout Microsoft vs. Sony Allstars? Oh wait, that wouldn't be fair. Kratos would pwn everybody.

they're stupid if they didnt think it wud be... the crossover is a nice idea but they chose the wrong affiliation to do it with.. besides, MK has been getting stale... go ack to a 2d game for 1 iteration then back to 3d if u wish

The only reason i buy Mortal combat games is because i know i will able to rip someones head off at the end of the day, i love my gore. why are they surprised that so many people are p1ssed? Mortal combat is about gore, blood and action, being able to kill your opponent in a gruesome way is this games trademark, this is the only thing that makes this game stand out. This is why the fans love it. Ed Boon is a fool.

That's exactly how i felt. The series got stale after MK4 to me and Deadly Alliance and every other game after it was boring and a bit goofy in my opinion. I'm glad they went this direction because now they can prove that MK isn't just all about the gore and can actually have a solid fighting engine. I'm excited about the new gameplay (even though it doesn't have fatalities per se). Besides i think they might make Jokers fatality making a pencil disappear.

Have a bubble for good game taste.

My all time MK favourite is MK ultimate 3. No fighting game I have played has captured the fury and speed of fighting better.

sorry but i just cant play a game with these kind of random junk matches i'll stick to street fighter 4, or soul calibur 4 even though the only reason to own it is the online mode

i'd also like to point out another dissapointing move by a dev for a fighting game

soul calibur for the first time added a character where the hieght is an issue (yoda) the character is cheap and ruins fighting balance and is only in there for marketing, besides upgraded graphics and some fluff extra characters its basically the same game with a cheap character added

tbh i think many fans of soul calibur would not be buying the game if it didnt add online for the first time

You're partially right. I'am buying the new one for the online play but also because i skipped out on SC3 (the only one i missed) so i missed out on a few new characters. Plus i'm kind of interested in the character customization for SC4. I don't care about the Star Wars characters and they are kind of just "there" to me. Plus i haven't brought a new fighting game since Street Fighter Anniversary and i'm itching to play a new fighter.

Then again DC probably wouldn't like to see Supermans head ripped of in 10 different ways. I would though :OD
Batman vs Superman would be pretty cool too...

I like crossovers but this one kind of kills the original.
Do MK vs Fraggle Rock or MK vs The Smurfs instead.

....trashing MK vs. DC is the new thing to do to make yourself look cool around your friends.

And I absolutely can't believe the b!tching about "NO fatalities", THERE ARE FATALITIES!!! And everyone who got their collective assholes in a tight knot about the inclusion of Superman....hello?! Chun-Li versus The Hulk?! generally anyone vs Wolverine? Since when would normal humans be able to go toe-to-toe with these guys and hop away holding one of their legs while pushing their eyes back into their sockets, much less win?

I guess all I'm saying is this didn't seem so shocking to everyone when it was Marvel vs Capcom. I personally am looking forward to this and hoping for the best.

Well SF is pretty cool and a great fighting serie , Mk ... not so much with many downs to their ups . Not to mention that artwise , with Street fighter as a 2d franchise , it would be easier to work with integrating the Marvel characters . Especially when the Marvel side already had great fighting games too

Besides we have seen the game , animation wise it's like watching paraplegic on steroids . And its quite a lazy idea to licence the unreal engine for a fighting game ...

Of course my reaction would be bad , i've seen reactions of MK fans to their game being "watered down" by DC , but in my case it's the MK universe i wouldnt want near a franchise i like .
