GI.Biz Interview: The Schapp End of Things

One of Microsoft's key announcements at the company's E3 press conference was the overhaul of the Xbox Live service, with the addition of customisable 3D avatars.

To find out more about the thinking behind the move GamesIndustry.biz spoke to John Schappert, Microsoft's corporate VP of Live, Software and Services.

I really think you should use the same title as the original article....

A title is quintessential in giving an outlook to the content. It shades the meaning of the content somewhat as well.

In this case, the title should be "The Schapp End of Things" as per the the article. The title you have used covers one question, a minor question at that, and really misses the point of the whole interview.

It gives the impression that you are posting this news article to defend recent news, rather then posting the news impartially.

I know I know, this is N4G and it can be said the other way around too with fingers pointing. But its not like I am saying everyone is not at fault here. Many have to change that's all.

EDIT: ^^ ooh it changed! Awesome :)

OT: I felt the article was fairly interesting. I don't own a 360 myself, but it gives me some insight into what Microsoft is doing. I guess their move was fairly logical. Microsoft would really benefit if they shipped this out before PSN's 'Home'. Sony would be on the wrong side of the stick if that were to happen, with the issues of delays and what not.

Maybe Microsoft would benefit.. but Home is supposed to have integration with PSP, PS3, Forum Accounts, TVs, Laptops (Sony Products) They are closing the gap to become the living room hub before Microsoft and it's starting to show. I believe 2009 will back up my hotair of today. Heh.

Maybe I can trade my TV and pay a little more for one of the new Bravias with internet capabilities..

There's also that. But all these delays are obviously detrimental for their plans. I understand that they want to perfect it though.
