WipEout HD Causing Seizures?

Last week TheSixthAxis reported that Wipeout HD was still on track. Shortly after that, though, Sony's David Reeves explained that the reason there's no firm release date is that "there is a specific technical problem with WipEout that we have to solve" and that the problem is "a really, really tricky technical problem that no region has been able to solve at the moment."

Could seizures be the problem he was alluding to?

I very much doubt thats the cause of the delay. First he states "technical" which makes me believe, well, it's a technical problem.

And the fear of causing eizures or epileptic fits are nothing new, many game have had simple warnings placed at the start.

Yeah.. The epileptic gaming market isn't exactly huge one lol.

I doubt it's seizures that's delaying Wipeout HD. For the simple fact that people who have seizures would already be aware that games are likely to cause them seizures.

7 - I think its because 2.40 made in game sound track and trophies.

And now they have to add all that in so they dont have to patch it later. They probably having trouble figuring out what kinda achievments to put in the game too. This is a day 1 purchase for me. Man,, my ps3 is really starting to impress me with all of the content that is coming my way.

9 - Wow I haven't heard about games causing seizures in years

I remember back in the day some arcade racing games used to do that to seizure proned people. It might mean that wipeout has too much intensity going on.

They havn't got the Eye's or Reflex's for a game of This Speed and beauty
