E3 2009 Location (Downsized Again)

Ripten's Chad Lakkis writes:

"If you want to be one of the lucky few invited, you had better rsvp soon. Word is the location only holds about 25-50 people, and that's not including Barbie and her friends.

Of course this is a joke, but with the obvious downsizing of the event each year, I couldn't resist. Tell me where you think the event should be held next year. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with."

I'm not too sure about that. I will run the image through Photoshop and take a close look.

4 - big enough?
Why can't they just hold it at Barbie's Dream House, aka Cliffy B's Malibou Crash Pad?

7 - Who cares about E3 next year?
We will actually have games to play from here on till then. This was the year for companies to show what was in store for us, and they all failed, except for Sony cause at least they showed us things that we didnt know was coming, which is what E3 should be all about. I could give a rat's @ss where E3's at or who attends. E3 is dead to me.

Places that should have enough abandoned space to host the event:

Nintendo development studio (for hardcore games)
Microsoft hardware Quality Assurance dept.
Sony's Home (if we can just do it virtually)
Toshiba HD-DVD factory
EA's charitable contribution division
Valve's PS3 development center
Square Enix's annual Loyalty Dinner and Ball

Square Enix's annual Loyalty Dinner and Ball

haha, unless of course you invite everyone
that they've screwed over in the past...

then i don't think there will be
a big enough place for the event.

In 2015, E3 will have only one 9 m² room. We'll be glad to see Mr Miyamoto playing Wii Love Football Music Starring Sonic & Mario At Peach Party 3 with Wii MotionPlusPlusPlus.

In their parents' basement.

The keynotes will be held at a backyard barbecue.

13 - Why ESA eliminated the very things that made E3
Fun and Unique is beyond me. Downsizing the event doesn't help much either. They should make E3 open to the public.

14 - E3...
has got to allow the public back in. We've got to see the booth babes again. E3 is being marginalized more and more. The buzz from the public and the duty that game developers have toward the public could be increased dramatically.

eventually E3 will fail
i mean if they keep downsizing and keep limiting things then it will fail. question, i dont know but what if they hosted it in a different contry? would that take the limti off? i know E3 is something big for the US but just asking
