The Dark Knight movie was as good as GodFather IMO so for them to make a game for it worries me a lot because the game better live up to the movie.

There is a rumor that Pandemic Studios is making the game. I am not sure if it is true or not but I think they could make a good Dark Night game.

That's what I liked about this movie even more, that there was no cheesy crappy game tie in for the sake of trying to capitalize on the success of the movie. If you do a Batman game... make it not based on the movies, base them on the graphic novels.

The movie was awesome primarily because of Heath Ledgers performance in my opinion. I looked forward to the next scene where I would get to see Joker again.

Video game should be made out and fleshed out nicely, because the movie was amazing now we need a good game. Nolan, you listening; get these people to do a good game because rumors are its coming out at the same time as the DVD release. I don't care if Nolan has to sit there with a shotgun or have a pic of Two Face there to make them stay in task. I trust Pandemonic, but I don't trust EA

This game will suck. Any and everytime they have a game based on an intellectual property it always ends up being less than desirable.

1 reason why it's going to suck is they always buck for the same cast of actors who played in the movie for the game VO's and when you are missing the most dynamic one of the bunch the game is going to seem a bit shallow and flat right there. Anyone can phone in a joker performance, but not everyone can get it right like Heath Ledger did.

Number 2, the reason why movie games suck so much is because they can't ever get the balance of the movie ported over to the consoles it is trying to run on. This will be a joke just like the last 6 Batman games. It will be , at best, a rental.

Number 3 have you guys noticed the only Batman games that were good were ones based on their own source material or had affiliates with the animated show or comic working with the dev's?

This game will fail and until whoever owns the rights to this franchise learns that original content is a must when you are talking about a licensed IP. You can't slap the same plot and situations into a game and hope they work. Just can't do it.

Games are games for a reason
Movies are movies for a reason
Books are books for a reason
Screen plays are screen plays for a reason

They don't cross over very easily.
