1 - I hate how "Halo Killer" comes up when Killzone gets mentioned
Sony NOR GUERILLA *EVER* labeled KZ as a Halo killer. It was purely the work of the media as well as dumbass fanboys who had a bone to pick with the series and were looking for a game to overthrow its reign on the videogame market.

Sheesh!

Edit: I'd never thought i'd see the day when Ripten states the phrase "With the power of the PS3"...

lol I dont think they meant "power of the PS3" in the fanboy sense. Ie. more powerful than the 360. It's just to mean that the PS3 is more powerful than say...a PS2...and GG have to use all that power to create the visuals

But since in was a multiplat, this fact was never brought up by the flamers.

But if Killzone 2 pawns CoD4 then you can only conclude one thing....

They always have to sneak an AI comment because I think it is something to be genuinely worried about. If they didn't die ONCE during their session, that's a little too easy even for easy mode, and even with that said, usually for higher difficulty in games the AI itself is not changed much, they just deal more damage, have more accurate shots, and take more damage themselves. It's not hard to make the game difficult, just make it one shot and you die, but that wouldn't be a credit to the AI because they could still stand there like lemons in the open.

Although hopefully they are reading all the previews and if they're not so up themselves that they think the AI is perfect already, they will at least try to improve it before the game ships.

2 - I was one of those that actually liked the first one...
So it is a given that this one is one of my anticipated titles for 2k9. I am looking forward to the online for this game but I am definitely looking forward to seeing how they flesh out the single player. The first one had some pretty cool moments IMHO.

A lot of people liked the first one. It wasn't bad at all. It was just horribly overhyped by fanboys wanting a Halo caliber shooter on PS2. Hopefully, the same thing doesn't happen with this one. It looks like it's going in the right direction so far.

Cant wait for the game. I hope the gameplay is good. And the multiplayer looks like is going to be fun but im hoping for a solid single player campaign and some co-op!! But the only thing that worries is that when the reviews start coming there will be a lot of comparisions to halo and COD4 and i imagine that will end up hurting the final score of the game. I will buy it no matter what the reviews said but it will be bad rep for the game.

If I remember correctly there were a few previews that mention some issues with the control. But hey, the controls are not going to please everybody. I usually dont have issues the default control schemes of games. But if I do i just adapt instead of crying.
