It does not matter, its better to wait anywayz since the ps3 version will for sure have extra content. Look at eternal sonata and bioshock. the amount of extra content that eternal sonata is going to have for the ps3 is mind blowing. The same can be said for bioshock.

The fact that start ocean was not tag as an xbox exclusive at microsoft press conference, almost confirms that this game is coming for the ps3.

I have no problem with them moving over the 360 because of business reasons. It frustrates me a bit as a PS3 owner, but that's an excuse I can at least understand. But please, Squeenix, as someone who's bought nearly every one of your games since I was like 5, don't lie to me and tell me it's because you want to share the game with everyone and then proceed to "share" your games with just the Xbox 360. Bring Star Ocean 4 to the PS3 (and hell, bring it to the Wii, too, just to prove your point!).

If SO4 is exclusive to the 360, then I won't mind. I'll just play it on the 360 knowing they focused on it's developement solely for the 360.

But FFXIII going multiplatform is degraded it's appeal and compromised it's quality. Shame SquareEnix Shame.

I'll just go play FFX instead, back when Square had hearts.

I said the same thing, Sony should have released GTA4 exclusively or FF7 remake from lunch or at least 6 month later, but they f#cked up.

Sony don't own Square, or Take 2, or any other of the third party developers. What platforms these games are released on has got nothing to do with them at all!
So you can throw your toys out of your prams all you like, its not Sony's decision, and if these titles are going elsewhere when you don't want them too, you should be directing your vexation at the companies who are making the decision, not Sony, who have no control over what another company chooses to do.

What you are doing, is akin to trying to blame Dell for the issues you have with Vista. Its got nothing to do with them.

As a 44 year game developer who's played video games since the concept was invented, I'm particularly amused at being called a kid - its quite a compliment and your welcome to call me kid when you want sonny boy. :)

FF7 is NOT owned by Sony. Its a Sqaure property. That's a fact, and you'd do well to do some rudimentary research before exposing your utter ignorance on a public forum!

And no - Take 2 were not interested in anyone paying for exclusives for the GTA game at all, or you could bet MS would have paid their money. The best they could secure was exclusive DLC, and even that cost them a fortune and its debatable as to what they got.

The fact is, you have an extremely limited understanding of how business works, and who owns what, as you've plainly demonstrated.
Paying companies to not release on other formats is extremely anti-competitive and not good business practice at all. Sony, and most other companies, will simply not conduct their business this way. The fact that MS will stoop to this kind of deal is why they are the subject of so many anti-trust and unfair competition laws,- their business ethics suck. Thats not just my opinion, thats the opinion of all the worlds governments from the US, through Europe and Asia, all of whom have brought MS to bear for their continual anti competitive business deals and practices.

Sony invest their money in first party studios to make exclusives, and try to encourage third parties to release on their system, but they won't do it with bribes. They never have, and anyone with any basic understanding of business practice or even a reasonable adult viewpoint, will be able to understand why that is.

If you weren't living at home with your mommy buying your toys you'd have all the machines, like any true adult gamer. Then you wouldn't have to have a teenage hissy fit when things don't go your way and you could just play games.

Never mind, I understand. Puberty can be a stressful time...

Square is starting to really piss me off.

They should just come out with it and say they were freakin' bribed.

I highly doubt that they just suddenly decided to make FFXIII multi-plat without being bribed by Microsoft. I remembered this game being advertised as a PS3 exclusive and it was supposed to take advantage of the PS3's graphical capabilities.

All they care about is the cash and we have to accept that.
