FFXIII was the reason why MS held off on Halo. Square said that it was a last-minute decision to bring FFXIII to 360. MS realized that they didn't need Halo this time. Everyone thought that the 360 was out of ammo. Instead, they had more than enough ammo with Gears 2, Fable 2, massive dash overhaul, Netflix, game installs, and FFXIII.

If microsoft is still the publisher, they'd still be able to have a good amount of control over the advertising. The fact that, as publisher, they control a lot of the money going to bungie and have enough to throw at them to stay shut up, makes it at least an uncertainty.

We're not "stuck" doing anything but enjoying our games. The PS3 is owning now and you all know that. It was coming and we all saw it. You doubted it, for some strange reason, but the PS3 is gaining ground and fast.

So, lay off the trash talk and just go play your Halo...or did you trade that in for Call of Duty 4? Sometimes I get mediocre crap mixed up with masterpieces...you know how that is, right?

I don't give a crap about what anyone thinks but the fact is Christian Allen ruined Ghost Recon. All of the 10 year olds on this site do not remember when Ghost Recon was a great game. Allen brought GRAW, the brain dead game that took away tactics, took away any sense of realism in favor of shallow run and gun gameplay designed for 5 year olds with a short attention span. The guy is a class a jerk and did everything he could to run that franchise into the ground. Go over to GhostRecon.net and jump on the forums and tell them differently and get your self a new ripped.

With all due respect chidj2, Sony's "future" line-up is the whole point and problem. While PS3 owners talk about what's coming, 360 owners are playing some incredible games and have been for a couple of years already. Aside from MGS4, Sony has had next to nothing. With what little they have had to offer, I started to think that the PS3 was just a blu-ray player. It was silent in the PS camp this whole time till they finally got their one big gun in MGS4. Be very happy that MGS4 didn't have to go head to head this fall with Gears of War2. The fight would have been over before it started. Sound the chainsaw bayonets!

i have been playing amazing games on the ps3 for a year and a half now since day 1. cause thats how long it has been out.

resistance1- no 360 game has as much enemy's on screen or as much action on screen as resistance and this was a launch title. how come the 360 doesnt have that kind of nex gen experience? its been almost 3 years now and you still dont see any game on the 360 do that. let alone it has better graphics/physice/dynamics and imo a better story than halo3.

motorstorm- omg dont even get me started.

hevenly sword- again, how come you never seen any game exclusive to 360 with as much enemys on screen keeping their AI and doing all different animations? the story is epic and the gameplay and graphics are amazing. 500 enemy's on screen all doing different animations and attacking you.

these are just examples of the horrible games you speak of man, open your eyes.

The pattern is 3 years for every Halo game (same pattern works for spiderman movies). So unless the team was working on halo 4 whilst working on 3 or a seperate team worked on both, then I dont see it happening yet.

I love all the halos, but what makes me mad/confused is the graphical difference between halo 2 and 3. Halo to Halo 2 was like night and day, but 2 to 3 wasnt all that big of an upgrade. I wanted to see killzone style. Dark and gritty yet well defined. What I later learned was that it wasnt the power of the 360 that was holding H3 back (im getting tired of saying the whole thing) but rather the artistic style.

Who's to blame? Well Halo 2 because of its ultra orange-ness which led H3 to go back to a more colorful version. Also the artistic level of which it was set. Everything was designed to look a little bulkier than it really is.

Perfect Dark Zero was more graphicly amazing than H3. (read the whole article so you dont reply stupidly to this sentence only).

Im just really mad/confused and hope that if it is Halo 4 which will have the "knock em' down" trailer, that H4 throws away all its graphical preconceived notions and trys all over as a new less cartoon-ish look.

Yeah, H4 would rule...if....
