MS was the best overall, i liked sony in small chunks, but overall was kinda boring (maybe cause i dont give a crap about PSP or PS2)... Nintendo was enjoyable to a sense that me and my friend were laughing at how much it sucked, especially wii music... im not gonna lie, the sword fighting looked fun when your drunk, but you'll prolly end up beating each other with wiimotes.

The wii was the worst followed by a tie between Sony and MS. MS took a big step with stealing the exclusivity of ff13 from sony, but they failed in bringing anything new exclusive to the 360. Sony brought something new with Dc univers online (didnt look to good) and MAG (looked really good) but failed in bringing in some rpg news.

sony freakin smashed it, GOD Of War 3, MAG 256 online player game, little big planet, resistance 2 and resistance on psp, and many other titles answel as fetures the new video feture the online improvments HOME, record gameplay and put on utube. and bloody hell soo many games freakin confirmed in that time i was like this is never ending i fort itd be an hour klong but no they had more in the end....

sony jus failed 1 thing ... the rpgs... owell i seen a bit of eternal sonata there and hell yeah TGS08 is soon october 9th baby

Wait till you see the hd vids of resistance 2, motorstorm2, Killzone2, LBP.

Final Fantasy wasn't stolen, it was agreed with sony months ago. A little birdie told me:) I known for ages, but i'm not into ff so it doesn't matter alot to me.

Infamous looks awesome.

Microsoft finished second, Nintendo 3rd. But who will sell the most software. ATM Nintendo.

MS will again finish last this gen.

I think I'm just gonna give up on the video game community in general. What kind of message are you sending these companies if you only reward buying other people's exclusives and not new game announcements and support for their platforms? Of course Sony didn't have alot of gameplay footage they had to show THREE platforms. Microsoft cut off support of the xbox, they don't have a handheld and they gave up on the PC. Everyone said Microsoft's conference sucked until the FFXIII announcement.

If you think showing FFXIII was such a big deal why didn't you care about it when sony showed it? Why wasn't it a showstopper for sony? Because it wasn't shocking? Shocking is the only thing you want? Shocking won't make you enjoy the game anymore than you do. Forget it, I'm done trying.

I honestly wasn't impressed with the MS or Nintendo conferences. MS did show some good games, but nothing new at all was shown other than FFXIII going multi. Big announcement for them yes, but negligible for me since I'm still getting the PS3 version.

Sony worked the hardest because they made deals with devs to bring out new IPs.

Who Knows if Infamous will be the next big blockbuster? Or if not then maybe Littlebigplanet?

The only thing I wish I would've seen more from Sony is release dates and demos

In my opinion, in overall, Sony had the best conference. I don't say it was amazing, but from the beginning to the end, there was some quality, surprises and good stuff.

Microsoft had a quite good beginning, but it falls quickly, being very boring until the FFXIII announcement. And Nintendo, i wasn't convinced at all, i though the Wii Motion Plus was a good idea, but i wonder why they didn't think about it sooner? (then the conspiracy though about Nintendo that made on purpose to release a 30$ accessory that will make big sales, etc...)

Hands down.

While Microsoft had that devastating blow when they mentioned FFXIII going multi-platform, Sony didn't falter and went ahead with the show. They showed off new things and not rehashes of multi-platform titles. I watched all three conferences and Nintendo/Microsoft's conferences were boring.

Disagree with me if you want. I don't really give a damn. That's how *I* felt and that's *my* opinion.

Name one game that M$ has that destroy's Killzone 2, and RE2, LBP.
Gears 2 looks like gears1 cept for a few new features, what new things does it bring.. its the same thing.While developers like insomniac, bring everything RE1 had plus alot more with double the online number of players can take in a game, at a time. evrything seems so much better when your playing beyond the aspects of the standard 360 and wii.. This is living. This is 'real' gen!

Despite everything that has happened I still think the PS3 won the conference.

Why?

Well Microsoft showed mostly multiplatform demo games with the exception of a Gears of War 2 showing and a surprise announcement from Square Enix.
Though MS did announce FFXIII is coming to the 360 Square Enix also said that it would come out a year after the PS3 Version came out and that it will only be sold in America and Europe and that FFXIII Versus still remains a PS3 Exclusive.

Nintendo had some cool stuff but failed to touch the hardcore side of their fans.

Sony didn't really have enough time to show anything and their was barely any game play of to other exclusive games except Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet.
But by hearing from many developers about how good the PS3 is to work with I don't think the PS3 will be going anywhere anytime soon but still has alot to prove in the long run same with the 360.

I've also noticed that these conference winners seem to switch every year.
2006: 360 had that win cuz of the early 1 year head start.
2007: PS3 won.
2008: PS3 wins again but barely slips by.

Overall I feel this whole E3 this year was wack.
Same old stuff only reviewed in a 2 hour period from every company with only glimpses of other games that won't even come out this year.

I still believe all 3 consoles will be around but both Microsoft and Sony still have more fighting to do to win this next gen title of which console will win this generation.

What's strange is that PS3 Conference last year was fire and stole Microsoft's spot light only now Sony decided to take it easy because their selling more consoles this year.

No one was really at their best and I hope the next conference other than E3 is better than this one we had E3 2008.

Sony had the most consistent presentation of all.

Microsoft had a very dull presentation with no new games announcements and a BIG announcement at the end. The announcemnet couldn't save Microsoft's presentation though.

Nintendo pretty much sucked.

My guess is that Sony hasn't even tested the 256 player MAG game. By release it'll be down to 100 players. I can't even begin to imagine the horrors of spawn camping insanity that comes with that amount of players. You'll die within a minute

Are you f*ckin serious, who did this poll? Sony crushed hands down and no one can deny it. MS had Gears 2, Fable, and Lips. Those are the only exclusives that are comin out this fall for the box. Come on Sony had a killer showing. The god of war teaser was enough for sony to take the show, along with their awesome exclusives. They still have the psp and the ps2 you know. ALL 3 were pretty lame but the points victory should go to MS due to the WOW factor of FF13, never mind the fact thats its multiplatform, it WAS one of Sony;s biggest hitters and a game that was always claimed would never show up on the 360. MAGS sounds impressive but with no screenshots and still about 2-3 years away, it dont really mean jack

FF13 is not a surprise to me, i was expecting that to happen but at that SE conference, i was laughing again. Timed exclusived for xbug 360, BR will be superior than DVD. Xbox version will not be released in Japan.

The FACT of the matter is that MS blew away the competition this year at E3..it's undenyable and undebatable. It was such a landslide that the Bungie announcment they had in store for today got pushed back. MS was planning on dropping another megaton today to trumph any exciting news that Sony may have had. But Sony didn't deliver so MS will wait a little while longer and let people keep buzzing about what went down at E3. In the next few short weeks MS will drop the news of the new killer app. PS3s are now being sold at a mad rate, not off of store shelfs but out of peoples living rooms.. MS at E3 just validated what everyone who likes gaming already knows..the 360 is the way to go.

I am Giant Enemy Crab. I am hear to seek revenge on those at Sony for using me as an example in their 2005 E3 demonstration. I am insulted that I would be used to promote such an overhyped and disappointing Blu-ray player that also happens to play a few games.
