Honestly e3 was a dud.Sony showed stuff that i have been doing on my computer for years now(renting movies,watching racing news).They did show off a great exclusive with Mag.Besides that though nothing special everyhitng is coming out next year.

and the reason the ff news was so epic is because sony fanboys were nut hugging that exclusive with an iron fist ...all of a sudden its not exclusive anymore and sony fans say"yea whatever".

e3 sucked this year period.

First of all i own the 360 and ps3 but when I have the choice I buy my games for the ps3. I hated and bashed 360 for years..until gears of war came out. I shut my mouth and went and bought one. Not sure if microsoft gets exclusives for a lot less because of the bigger install base (which isn't all much bigger anymore) but sony really needs 2 get more aggressive at securing exclusives. If gta IV was a ps3 exclusive Im sure sony would have at least a few million more systems sold.

After watching that E3 conference, I think that I can say with some confidence that MGS4 isn't coming to the 360. If Konami had plans to announce a MGS4 for 360 at E3, Sony would have probably knew about it and during the whole conference, MGS4 was boasted as a PS3 exclusive over and over again.

I really liked how Sony combined LittleBigPlanet into Jack's speech, that was really nice and really innovative.

With the 80GB PS3 going to $399 and plenty of exclusive games on the horizon, the PS3's future is looking even brighter. Sony definantly surprised me at E3 with that one.

Seriously, I have been an avid Sony fan since the PS1 but look at what they are doing. They are losing exclusive after exclusive and all they have to offer me is more FPS's; like I care. That's all I have had since its release. Heavenly sword beat in less than 6 hours, lair bad controls MGS4 already old news. I stayed with Sony because they kept series like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, Suikoden, etc. Instead I haven't been given a single true RPG that wasn't a port. Every day I hear of lost exclusives, really Sony, you don't need any of them to remain in control? Res 2 and Killzone 2 are enough for you? More games kept Sony on top, not blu-ray, not home. Not even the trophy system. If you have the games than you have the gamers, it's as simple as that. PS1 and PS2 had the games, where are PS3's. Worry about the games Sony, not the blu-ray player or all of these other features that you are hoping to sway us with.

The words "This is the year of the PS3" finally came. This year should be the year of the PS3 b/c they've done a lot so far and they're going to be doing a lot more. And when I say more i mean all the games that are coming out for it, HOME, and hopefuly more updates. Not only that but the PS3 didn't have to cut down its prices b/c it was actually selling unlike the XboxPleaseFixMe. This year has been the best for the PS3 since it came out. GO SONY!
