Dude chill out. I'm not saying you don't have a PS3, but if you did you would realize that last years E3 Press conference was on the store the Thursday after. NOw I'm not sure if you neglected this fact or where just unaware. But chill I am sure we will be able to see it. On a side not is Microsoft having there conference live on xbox live. If so you can be a little pissed, but we will have it so just chill.

I was thinking the same thing. Why is this important when over 90% of PS3 owners don't even have home. Unless they plan on opening the beat by Monday this is useless.

I can only really tell you what happened last year for a start in the uk ads are restricted to small areas on the dash and aren't integrated into and videos they are stuff like download this from live arcade or download game/demo or in stores this week showing launching games nothing like get yer big macs or whoppers or non game related stuff.

last year it wasn't live steaming but a HD well filmed highlight video was available fairly soon after along with about 10 trailers a day and 1 or 2 demos a day from the show floor
but since inside xbox was launched live streaming common now there are interviews to steam nearly every day so it probably will be but there not definite as no info has been released yet and after the halo 3 trailer murders bandwidth last year I'd say no.
the whole conference was available in parts all in HD with 2 parts to download every day but by then I had already seen it on net.

Its not useless. As much as it would be cool for all to be able to use Home this year to see E3. Home is in closed beta at this time. Doing things while in beta so they don't fail while in final build is not useless its common sense.

It would be nice if they had a special early Qore issue for E3. Not everyone gets qore yet though. I plan to use my PC as always to watch E3 but next year I will definitely watch from Home and thats killer. If they upgraded the PS3 Web browser's flash player we could just watch on the PS3's web browser too. It would be possible to watch it on youtube... Anyway im sure they will put the vids on PSN like last year.

They should simulcast it on us.playstaion.com website as well.

They should open the beta to everyone though, unless it could somehow harm your system; I'd like to have some portion of Home by now, but I guess I'll just have to settle for great firmware updates for the time being.

he does make a point though I mean we all payed a lot of money why cant we watch it as well I mean its been forever since the open beta was supposed to happen but since they didn't do it we don't get any special things like those lucky few...though don't get me wrong it will never make me want a 360 but I would like to be in the beta just like everyone else....dont mind me I'm just venting a bit

Yes, we all know we're all jealous... but it's sony we just gotta trust that they know what they're doing and they're doing it for a reason.

Giving the codes to the press is probably for them to have it advertised or something.

Yes be jealous I am to with the beta testers, but complaining and yelling about a service that Sony is going to offer for free when it is released is just plan childish. Sony could very easily charge us for this. So I'm content on waiting as long as I need to to get this free service.

I dont think so, but I was hoping they would open it up. The streaming is awesome in HOME. Plus there will be tons of screens for trailers. Good stuff.

Anyway, I am sure it will be on the PSstore at some point.

it is a beta after all, still who cares? they say it's 25 accounts for the press, meaning like 25 sites/magazines/whatever will get access to home, but a lot more ppl will see it (magazines and sites ain't run by just one guy) in the end, this is really news-worthy imo
