Images of Prince of Persia

Ubisoft led slip three images and some artworks of Prince of Persia: Prodigy - the name is not confirmed at all, but it's the last thing we heard. Hopefully we'll be able to give the game a try at E3.

1 - lets hope they can reawaken my love for Prince of Persia
I thought the first prince of Persia was revolutionary.

I loved playing through it every minute. Although the second and third were good too, they didn't create the same magic.

and soon I found my self loving god of war.

Oh come on, while Warrior Within was a bit of a step back, The Two Thrones was right up there with Sands.

Prince: Most people think time is like a river that flows swift and sure in one direction. But I have seen the face of Time, and I can tell you… they are wrong. Time is an ocean in a storm. You may wonder who I really am, and why I say this. Come… and I will tell you a tale like none you have ever heard…

That line repeated at the end of Two Thrones brought the biggest smile to my face.

Well, I love both series but there is a reason that one is a mortal prince while the other is a god :)

As Sands Trilogy, I also think that the original was the best. Still, nothing beats the original first Prince games on PC.

Wow, that would be not so cool. I was looking forward to this too. I mean next gen PoP, who wouldn't? But this is going to make me really rethink my stance. As in dropping it off my radar.

Why would this look make it drop off your radar? This more artistic direction to me better suits Prince of Persia than the more "realistic" look other games try to achieve.

it has a desultory look that breaks the level of emersion. I think the art design of PoP has been some of the best in the biz since Warrior, but I just don't like the cell shaded characters.

normally i'm not sold on cel chaded graphics, perhaps because we attribute it to cartoony games(they strangely turn out to be bad games). but PoP's cel shaded is different, the way it's started it looks like mature tones and a dark color palette. I like it.
