Its starting to look worse, even more robotic. And the graphics seem to have been downgraded, at least Resistance 2 is coming out soon.

I am highly anticipating this game, especially since all the gameplay vids a while back; but this trailer didn't impress me. I just wasn't blown away by it the way I've been blown away with everything else I have seen of KZ2. It seems to me that its a step backwards but then maybe I'm becoming desensitized with MGS4.

I understand you... In fact, I felt the same when I saw the trailer.

I thought: This doesn't look like the recent gameplay footage I saw...

Then I remembered Uncharted, COD4, HS and some other games, looking exactly like that before they released.

I remember thinking the same thing when I saw the COD4 trailer on PSN, then the game came out and it looked stunning.

Uncharted too. I saw all the trailers on PSN and some of them were dark, hardly any detail, washed out etc.

I felt the same way you did, but I'm pretty sure it will look like we're expecting when it releases.

sure i agree that Gameplay is important, i played the first game, and the gameplay was weak not to mention the game was too ambitious for the PS2 and of course the online was pretty bad, but thats because this game was being built with the PC in mind until Sony came and Picked this game up, thats why the first game looked bad, but the storyline was there and it kicks a**. Liberation was a game that showed that guerilla games knows how to dev for a game, Now that the KZ2 is a game being developed and made with the PS3 in mind, they are going to redeem themselves with fixing the graphics and gameplay and the online, the PS3 has a network, this game will bed worth the hype

Halo was originally developed as a pc game as well, and it ended up being a launch title for the xbox. The first Killzone was just not that great, no excuses please. Killzone liberation on psp however is a very fun little game.

yea but we are talking about a game that got ported to a complex architecture, remember that. if it was a game built on PS2 hardware at first you wouldnt see the problem with KZ1

I sure hope your right. Although, why release a trailer that doesn't do the game justice (at least from what I have seen up to this point).

Still, the gameplay vids looked incredible, so I will base my enthusiasm on that. I know everyone talks about the graphics but its the physics thats really going to set this game apart anyways.

The best graphics out there (with the possible exception of Crysis) is MGS4. Uncharted is second. Both games look absolutely incredible. In fact, some of the textures in Uncharted have to be seen to be believed. COD4 has good art style and it's baked lighting and shadows are cleverly done but it's textures are simply not as good as the other games. Part of the reason is because COD4 was designed for the 360 which has only 2/3s the texture processing units of the PS3.

this is the ONLY game shown so far that could possibly take the crown from MGS4 as best looking console game of all time...

people can whine all they want about 'gameplay' with Killzone 2...they have seen nothing...but its an entirely other league in terms of visuals...

I really want an answer to this...Why do PS3 exclusive look so much better than the competition's?...the 360 is supposed to have a 'superior GPU'...and be so much easier to develop for...then why does this look undeniably better than anything ever shown for the 360?...
