Interesting. I'm curious as to what the aggresiveness means. Will it be more internal memos taking shots at the competitions multiplatform game, regardless of the positives it brings. Or will it be money hatting every thing and everything that sold well on the PS2. Perhaps even more PR men talking and saying how much better they are, and how so and so can't do this, and so on and so lost that, and what have you. I'm guessing all of the above.

It's a shame Sega or Colleco or even Phillips never had the money Microsoft has, cause I'd rather have any number of those companies trying to buy a monopoly into a business that doesn't want them around.

The sad thing is, Microsoft doesn't understand that consumers are not picking their system overall. Sony's ps3 and Nintendo wii are the dominate consoles in all regions combined and not by no small number. Large numbers. That leads me to believe that Microsoft is the odd man out to consumers, yet Microsoft is still going to try and force these consumers into dealing with 1 solution for their needs. Just like they did with windows.

Its only a matter of time sony will do the same. Just look at the price differental for the ps3 and 360. The ps3 still cost more but yet it seems to be outselling the 360 on a monthly basis. Look for this to continue and when the ps3 price drops to 299 dollars I almost feel sorry for MS, especially with the crazy lineup sony has from now on and and growing stronger as the year goes, and 2009, I can already see the ps3 surpassing the 360 towards the end of 2009.

E3 has gotten smaller, its all powerpoint now.
Hope they remember its supposed to be a show.
Last year was pretty sad for m$. They used all their resources and hyped the hell out of a average game.
But mostly, they bragged about recycled RROD sales.
Its over, and E3 will be the show where they make it obvious.
I know but i've been there with the genesis & the dreamcast.
The neo-geo and the panasonic 3do.
Its over. You young guys need to get a grip. Those japanese are the ninja's & samurai's of this industry.
I used to have a xbox. I was all gung ho and patriotic in 2007.
then i noticed my credit card payments, got rrod twice and cod4 was on a ps3.
I had no more room on my xbox 360 hardrive thanks to halo3, i had leftover m$ points and still couldn't add them up properly to know exactly how much money was leftover. Gears was a lagfest and all my favorite multi platform games were free to play online on the ps3.
I started to feel like I had one hand in my pocket and my xbox360 was a ticking time bomb!
Arcade games were cool to download, hey I loved UNO but i felt like I was missing some little retro games that I used to play that shaped the games i was playing and that was ps1, ps2 and psp games. Obviously, xbox arcades would never get those games.
I thought video was a great idea until I payed for a few. I thoughts was next gen when you could download and watch while downloading but that was a huge lie as every 5 seconds i get the buffering graph bars. That sucked.
I used to hollar in my house about achievements until a few of those achievements killed me because it blocked my view or was in the way of some text from the game.
i wish they would have upgraded the gamerscore into something cooler but no they rather stick old spice ad and ad for the u.s army & navy on top of the theme I just payed for.
As a gamer I started to feel dirty because I love first person shooters because they are very addicting to me and I know im getting drained of my money to play it but there was no way i was gonna wait for sony to come around the so called next gen era.
Little did I know i was stuck on last gen and being confused because im playing last gen games with graphics splashed on them and Im encouraged by fans who feel that xbox 360 games are the best games ever to be invented, when i know the best games are on my top 10 list and from previous years of other consoles.
I traded my xbox for a ps3 when cod4 was out and I kick myself for not having done it sooner.
While I did play xbox360 best games there was nothing i couldnt live without. Ghost recon was my first love of this gen and its on ps3.
while its debatable about which version is better, the ps3 version had everything i bought on live right on the disc. That hurt me.
And Now, here we are.
Its a well known fact that xbox 360 has been maxed.
Im so happy with all the money im saving and the truly next generation of gaming with all of the ps3 exclusives, the multiplatform games are a bonus and a great one at that. I dont really play my games with a magnifying glass and a stop watch or scrutinize a game because it on another system. For me, paying for downloadable content on xbox while ps3 get it all one the disc like it used to be, sealed the deal.
Before this gen started we all wooried about micro-transactions and xbox360 raped gamers with the worst console ever created in history.
overblown reviews, format battle that lost, losing big developers, a controller that isnt a %1oo%, add on after add on, and now limeted games and outdated technology.
While i play the sony droid on this site because its fun. Ive been there and I hear some of you xbox 360 fans. I hope that xbox 360 continues to get small developers so that they dont have to wait on sony's shelf of blockbusters. But seriously if Sony go in for the kill at E3?
The xbox 360 has absolutly no chance of making a comeback and will continue being the biggest joke in gaming history.
It might as well be discontinued because there is nothing on there that ps3 cant do better and make sequels of good games more amazing than the 1.5 treatment good games get at microsoft. they are a embarrassment. but thank the lord for xbox live, because thats how to keep friends together even though they are constantly paying. It is easily ignored when your friend is being raped too!

When I get home im gonna play a few games on ps3 before the night is over:
ut3- cause i gotta check out what the mods did this time!
Ninja gaiden sigma- im still stuck on a level!
battlefield demo- Im going on vacation next week, when i come back bad company will be mines to own!
COD4- just a few rounds will do!
Burnout paradise- I love to talk trash!
Tekken- My brother and i have a rivalry!
gta4- i love getting people to trust me in free mode and i drive them to a shotgun power up and back stab the hellzz out of them, too funny!
metalgear4- Im trying to customize all my weapons and only use 2 at a time.
MGO- Im still practicing those headshots in first person mode!
after all of that, im gonna check n4g on the browser to see if the xbutts stank up the place with nonsence and sales numbers.
I might get into a blu-ray high definition movie if im not exausted!
or download tons of content from the psn store.
So you see, ps3 is very, very interactive in a very, very unique way!
The best part of all this: Its freaking free!
That sends chills down my spine, it free!
Its like a breath of fresh air: Free!
Just like a drink of cold water on a hot summer day: Free
Feels like sex with the girl of your dreams: FREE!

Everything in America is for sale, even opinions!
You can buy justice, you can even buy your product not being recalled a couple of months just so it doesnt burn no ones house down.
In america, you can buy the presidency, other companies, web searches and you can buy poeple, love, and some happiness.
These guys represent everything GTA4 makes fun of.
only this aint no game and the xbutts are the republican space rangers.
The only thing you cant buy is problem solving skills and actual talent. If you could they would not be recycling RROD sales numbers instead of fixing it!

Microsoft has extreme difficulties on gaining the trust of consumers. Xbox 360 "winning" is pratically mission impossible. It's something that the corporation simply is not capable of doing.

For the last 20 years, the best selling consoles has either been by Sony or Nintendo. True Japanese innovators in this industry. Microsoft simply has no room or no place in gaming and their plummeting sales show for it.
