Novastrike Review(Platform Nation)

Top-down shooters have been around for many, many years. There are some that innovate the genre, others that stay true to a standard formula (which are still fun), and those who take the genre backwards in progression-and the latter of these is Novastrike. Words that come to mind when thinking about this game are: lackluster, underwhelming, bland, monotonous, and unappealing.

Another wrong review. This is why independent guys never get a shot in the industry, everyone keeps them held down by reviews.

Because Novastrike isn't a typical thumb stick shooter, as a matter of fact, it rarely even uses the thumb stick to shoot. Novastrike has a level of strategy in it that these other games the reviewer is bragging up just don't have.

Novastrike is hard as hell but the level up system it has and the strategy of using your boost and knowing when and where to drop bombs is key. Stardust, everyday shooter and all the rest just don't have that level of interactivity to it.

Sorry.
