Analyst on low US Wii Fit stock: Nintendo knows "Americans will still be fat in a few months"

If like many thousands of others in the US, you are still struggling to find a copy of Wii Fit on store shelves anywhere in your region, one analyst believes that it isn't because Nintendo couldn't ship enough to the country, but instead because they decided not to.

Wedbush Morgan's Michael Pachter reckons, reports BalanceBoardBlog.com, that a weak dollar and because Nintendo "know[s] that Americans will be just as fat a few months from now" when [it] will have more units available," means that it has nothing to worry about, as it earns higher profits elsewhere in the world.

Well its true. With America's obesity rate at what it is right now, there's no way a "Game" is going to help them get to a healthy weight. In fact, Wii Fit shouldn't be used as a primary weight loss program/exercise method. If anything, it should let people know that if you know you're overweight, and can find the time to get on top of a board that may not work for you, step outside a couple of times a week until you can. By that time hopefully, they'll keep up the exercise on their own.

New tools can be created, but it is the mental aspect that is the common factor to creating a healthy body.

I just can't believe people buying this crap. To what to lose weight? Fools don't know nothing about losing weight, if anything Wii Fit will just maintain your current weight of fat, that is all it'll do. Go to a damn gym and shed some pounds there, forget about what people would say about you.

I'm skinny and I was intimidated at first when I saw those members of my gym freaking huge (some I question if it was by some "illegal substances") but hey, here I am typing this, with my legs sore as hell, my muscle tissue broken in order to expand and grow more muscle, waiting for it to be Monday and start with my upper body, Tuesday my chest and Wednesday my back, rinse and repeat and you'll see results fast, and efficient and I just wasted 35 bucks for a monthly membership but are money well spent for something that'll benefit me the way I want it to.

Yes, Nintendo knew they could have sold 10 million copies of Wii Fit during the NA launch so they sent 800K. I swear these analysts must have all gotten their degrees from ICS (See video if you aren't old enough to remember Sally Struthers hocking this cr*p in the 80's.)

Oh how they read my mind perfectly about this WiiFit, I just wonder how many people are going to either try and return the game to the store or sell it in a garage sale. Man the Wii news reports gave me some good laughs. :D

9 - Society is looking really sad
Is It just me or do any of you others look at how much the wii fit is selling and think society is going down hill very fast. Anyone that buys the wii fit to loose weight is a complete and utter idiot, and if it were possible and would slap each and everyone of them very hard and call them a stupid fat git.
