larger hard drive...we'll add this after saying 20gig was enough and sony having a bigger,switchable hdd

video service...we'll add that and get it out before sony does like they were saying they will do years earlier

singing game...we'll add that just like sony did with singstar
play-create-share games...we'll add that like sony showed with LBP

and as microsoft thought sony would recreate XBL,sony said,"we'll make a 3D community.""not XBL."and watch,microsoft will just add something like it later on.you'll see.....they have no original bone in their bodies at microsoft except for what they know best.which is software only.

but copying is their way of life.disagree,and i'll just bring up MAC OS and IPOD.

Microsoft and Sony will revise their system over the years to bring cost down. For Sony, they already cut cost with the latest revision by removing backward compatibility chipset as well as smaller hard drive and fewer usb ports. For Microsoft, their current Falcon model has a smaller 65nm CPU among other things.

These cost cutting revisions should not be considered as upgrades because they do nothing to make the systems more powerful.

4. use bluray.
5. make it look, i dunno, nicer? to me it looks like a dirty white plastic box.
6. dont change the controller, maybe refine it.

i suppose thats it for me. i bet theres more though.

this is BS anyway, there never will be a '540', so i just wasted my time

2) 2GB RAM
3) 120GB BUILT IN! hard drive
4) 5 USB ports
5) HDMI output
6) up to 8 controllers
7) a decent graphics card! so it doesnt overclock and then die
8) a fan that isnt louder than a CoD4 RPG
oh, and dare I say it? Blu-ray

120 FPS and 4d graphics please! Include the 4D glasses in the box.

oooh and dual HDMI for both my HDTVS and USB ports up the wazoo. 1440P graphics should also be standard.

Somehow this is one funny thread because you can't help but think of the other platform's features which the Xbox 360 currently lack. In my opinion though, they should put a hold on this supposed "540" upgrade and focus all of these ideas on the new 720. If these rumors are true, then the MS guys could come up with a "rushed" ugly console.

how can ms be alerday planning their nex console when this gen of gaming is just gettting heatd up, i guees if u cant take the heat get out of the kitchen or in ms world if u cannont take the heat of ps3 catching up and wii selling amazing then bring out another console that will have everything the ps3 has but even better,....sony planned the ps3 for at least 8-10 years, u never hears rumors about a ps4 when sony was going throw hard times with the ps3 but now things are looking postive for sony ms getting ready for a new console because they are looking at throwing away their lead, EDIT... in europe sony has overtaken the 360 and in japan the 360 almost does not exsit in that region so that just leaves america, and if things keep gong like this ms will lose their lead in that region as well.......but still i would love to see another x box just to see if ms really has what it takes to compete with sony and nintendo and to prove that the 360 succes is not a fluke.

10.Make it a media hub- music, movies, pictures, internet, remote control etc.

I have a 08 falcon 360 and its very reliable.The only time I can hear it is when im playing a 360 game but when I have a CD,DVD or original Xbox game in its very silent.I just hope I see GTA V,PGR 5 and Halo 4 come out for it in the future.

A console that has better multiplatform games, can play GTA4 in 720p and without freezing every 10 seconds, a console with a bigger and better games library, and finally a console with the best online service. Damn this new console sounds familiar already :)

xbox games suck, wait till sony picks up the pace. they had a rough start, microsoft had a head start, and how much different are the multi platform games? its harder to dev on the ps3. their just realizing how it all works now. burnout looks better on the ps3, and im sure other games do too. its all about exclusives my dude. mass effect halo, gears, bioshock, orange box, does any of your best exclusives have any thing in common? cmon man, thats weak, theirs no excuse 4 not having alot of good games by now. i could name 4 games that would have a wider variety and better quality then your best exclusives. xbox is lame. they havent even reached 20 mill yet and their sales are dropping significantly. wait till home comes out then talk. ps3 is selling far better than the 360 did in their point in time. and your losing bioshock and mass effect.
