I am happy there are many non-fps games available for 360. There should be even more though. Platformers and RPGs are always welcome.

I agree with you! I think this will be a nice change of pace and a "stepping out of the box" experience for MS. They don't have many exclusive games like this but, you've got to start some where =) I'm sure it will be a pretty fun game to play!

It's like fanboy Voltron in here. The game looks great. It most likely plays great. Why the hate? I have heard crap like Banjo looks two square. That's the art style they were going for....For gish sake they made Kameo look round and that was at luanch. I think it's safe to say that the 360 can make a round main character...

So it's almost June and none of the big dogs from the Year of sony ha sbeen released. This year of Sony is turning out to be the 6 months of Sony. So far you've had a Beta of MGSO.

yes you can. The gameworld i.e. the world in which you play in, is 16 times larger, as in size and space, than anything Rare has created before.

If it was in Gigs and bytes then they would have phrased it differently.

I think it's because they lost several of their key developers.
I know some of the Goldeneye boys joined/started Free Radical.
And a couple went somewhere else.

Still, I don't think we should rule out Rare just because of that.

I think the previews look good and I'm willing to give them a chance to win me over.

wtf are you talking about? You know essentially everyone over the age of like um 18 or so all started out with Nintendo, N64, PS1, PS2 etc...we all played the same games growing up. Mario? who the hell would complain about playing Mario? You make no valid point whatsoever. The xbox fanbase from what I know is essentially 20 something year olds who like to shoot sh*t. But that doesn't mean we don't like games like this. Like I said we all grew up with the same Mario, Sonic etc.

Same here except MGS4 will be all I'm getting for PS3. Hope it has enough replay value to keep me switching on my PS at least once a fortnight for the rest of the year but I might get sick looking at that green hue all the time.
