All kidding aside, EA does deliver some stinkers but they make so many games, that they cant have *all* hits.

There are a few games I'll be buying from EA this year.

they didn't say too much about skate...that could be big this time round what with tony hawk on ds only.. and of course it was pretty much revolutionary skating gameplay. they could have done more with six axis though...

5 - They're all good titles except for C&C
C&C isn't my thing, but all the others look to be outstanding. The Battlefield Beta was impressive, Burnout was AAA without being groundbreaking, Spore could change gaming but will it sell?, Mass Effect was the most evolutionary Western RPG this generation (although Fallout may change that!), Mercs 2 looks amazing and should get much deserved sales love, and Rock Band has reinvented the music genre.

Yes EA has a history of terrible titles but most of those mentioned are AAA.

7 - most of those games arent even worth raising your eyebrow at
Mercenaries is about the only game i'd even consider calling blockbuster because of the talent behind them. i already have burnout paradise and have stopped playing for awhile soso much for it's lasting appeal... and Mass effect for the PC... yeah that too. buti've beaten it on my friends 360 so no need to own that... in the wake of MGS4 i dont think any of the said titles listed can even think of calling themselves blockbuster. if they wanna see how it's done go to kojima, Insmoniac, techmo, epic and NaughtyDog, sucker Punch, remedy, Rockstar, Polyphony and evolution and MediaMolecule. because there is nothing in ea's portfolio right now that interest me over the next 4-7. i'm sure another need for speed game is in work and bound to be shown at E3 this year. sigh

EA how does it feel to suck
