If you honestly think Nintendo is the ONLY one making the same IP over and over you are just Ignorant.
All companies, and ALL do it.
If something isnt broke then dont fix it.
If something is broke THEN fix it.

If someone loves a franchise he wants more, and this goes for ANY gamer here on N4G.
People wanted a New GTA
People wanted a New FF
People wanted a New Halo
People wanted a New Monster hunter
People wanted a New Moterstorm
People wanted a New killzone
People wanted a New RFOM.
the list goes on
And trust me, people cant wait for the one after that one and after that one and the next so on and on. And mostlikely they dont Differ much.

Mario to you is GTA to me, but does it F*cking matter?
Hell if i was stuck playing just Nintendo's games i couldnt give a s*it its not like if their games are bad or anything =/

A fun game is a fun game, so no reason to shun them.

Mario is annoying to me now, i used to thik he was cool, now hes just the same childish plumber i see on most games that interest me on the wii. I had a wii, but i sold it.

I could be saying something simular about GTA, but this doesnt mean they dont have quality content.

The thing is everyone has his own taste for gaming, but when nintendo makes a nother mario games, its suddenly horrible( its selling right so why not?) but when a new " inser title here" comes out people are jumping and jacking of while they are bashing nintendo for doing the same thing.

as for childish, Super mario world 2: Yoshis island looks like a damn kidz only game but damn i think its the BEST platform game out there.

Good games take time, no wonder crappy games have been rushing themselves in between a couple of months.

it was also said that the PS3 will take time for it to show it's true colors yet it seems the epics guys did most of that. Yes the Wii numbers wise don't look that great but those are not comparable chips. Capcom, square, factor 5, and other along with High voltage have shown that the system is capable of a lot more than what has been shown it's just that it's going to take money to develop the effects and every thing let along getting the remote thing right. Then you add on top of that cool has replaced fun for lots of these developers.

I remember when gamers under stood these things and such a thing as the second wave of games and the wave after that just squeezed even more out of the consoles. I actually like it how you can almost tell who is trying based on how well the art is executed.

With that being said if you are a fan boy that believe they need to bash the Wii then that is your main reason to sell it. I mean you'll make some money and mario will no longer get on your nerves. Then on top of that you score some cash to help you get the next batch of 10/10 games that are coming out.

What is sad is if you take away the graphics you start to see how much fun these games really are. Thankfully the Wii fits this balance of more fun and actually having a choice of crap and good games. The HD stuff including the PC is where the graphics are, yet if your idea of fun is great graphics with what ever game play then your in heaven also.

Had nintendo released an HD console with the same power then things would be crazy.
