Uhm i never played Dirt sooooo, can you hook up your cars in this game like in Need for Speed or is it like Burnout Paradise where you can only get a new car and change colors?

I honestly don't know what kind of racing games you guys have been playing but Grid is definitely horrible on physics, feel and even damage. The graphics are very good, but the driving is just so bad. You guys really ought to do yourselves a favor and try PGR or Forza for more realistic driving feel, or if you don't have a 360, GT5 Prologue. I mean even GT HD demo had far superior driving mechanics. Or if you're just into flat out arcade racers, I suppose Burnout Paradise or Sega Rally?

GRID is a great game. Great online gaming too.

GRID is slightly identical to DirT so i love the loading screen and showing the grid line up.

GRID is not meant to be a competition to GT5:P

GT5:P has better realistic handling and looks. GRID is more of an arcade style game.

I might get GRID when it comes out.

Personally I think the Codemasters driving games rank up there alongside PGR, GT, Forza and Burnout for fun.

They strike a great balance between realism and arcadey (leaning more towards arcade).

TOCA 2 on the Playstation is still one of my favourite race games, and the 'Race driver' series has been criminally overlooked.

Been playing Grid (360 demo)and first impressions were good. Good graphics, sound etc. But after a while i noticed that there was a real lack of feedback on the joypad when i hit cars as opposed to it rumbling like mad when i went over a rumble strip. It meant that i couldn't feel cars hitting me from behind until i was spinning out. Now while this isn't relevant i know to the PS3 users who don't have rumble it is annoying.
Also the cars have very little weight to them which means its difficult to judge how far your pushing you car.
As a pretty arcade racer its ok. The online seems to work well and it is fun to play.
But if you want a real racer choose Forza2 or GTP. I was a little disappointed once the graphics wore off.

I'm really digging the Grid demo on my 360. Allowing us to play the multiplayer is very cool.

Someone mentioned Sega Rally Revo, I think that game is awesome.
The graphics are beautiful, the colors and environments look amazing and the game is just plain fun to play.
In my opinion that game is VERY underappreciated and unfairly slammed by a lot of gamers.
