No Dualshock 3 in Europe's Metal Gear Solid console bundle

Sony have announced the European MGS4 console bundle will come bundled with a standard six axis contrioller rather than a Dualshock 3. Sony say in their press release this package will offer "millions of PS3 and MGS fans around the world the ultimate gaming combo".

Having already imported two Dualshock 3s this doesn't affect me in the slightest, but all the same I do feel sorry for those not in the know like us internet folk

This package is going to sell like crazy - not GTA crazy perhaps, but crazy nonetheless and it saddens me knowing that those people will be missing out.

thats ludicrous.

I'm sure they have a reason behind it, but I just don't understand it.

My DualShock 3's R2 button is weak. It seems broken, but still works...its like halfway depressed as opposed to the L2 that is fully functional.

So I'll be on my way to Walmart to buy a new Dualshock 3 today, and hopefully I can switch it with the old one and return it.

I imported from play-asia a couple months back (im in the US), and it shouldn't be broken already ;(

Either way, I feel bad for Europeans.

While it's pretty ridiculous that SCEE is up wondering around with there thumbs up there asses it's probably ALOT cheaper for you guys in the UK and surrounding areas to import anyway.
