Resistance: FOM was a launch title... a very good one... but still nothing even remotely close to what Resistnace 2 is going to be and Insomniac has said this.(Though it still received over 30 reviews of a 9 and over....also Game Informer gave both Resistance and Gears both a 9.5.... in the same issue... after playing them both side by side.) Though Resistnace is known as a very good franchise I think with R2 it's going to step out from the pack. Insomniac seems to think so.

Resistance 2 vs. Gears 2 will be a lot more fun. They are both going to be HUGE AAA games... I would also like to sprinkle a little Killzone 2 in there and then just end it all with Metal Gear Solid 4, which if you go by the previews of everyone who's played it, is going to be the most amazing, epic, special game ever created. Then some Fable 2 at the end to cure my RPG withdrawal. :D

Yeah i think that Gears of War 2 vs. Resistance 2 will be more fair, Resistance: Fall of Man was a launch and the guys at Insomniac were getting to know the console, now with Resistance they have the experience of making Resistance Fall of Man and Ratchet and Clank

yes your right i do like the ps3 better and everyone that watches my show knows that. but i'm not biased i'll tell you when ps3 mess up like taking rumble out of the controller that wasn't smart but thank god it's back, delaying home alot but i'm glad they are gonna release it when it's ready instead of rushing it, talking about things before they are ready gets me sick but on the 360 side that's a great system too man i got both dog but to me 360 breaks a lot,it doesn't have blu-ray, and i don't feel it's a future proof system like ps3 is. 360 do alot of things well such as xbox live which is incredible, also they have great games as well. so like i said i'm not biased at all but i do feel ps3 is better because of various reasons

I actually thought he brang up some very valuable points in his reviews and only people I can see disagreeing with him are people who only own an xbox 360.
Give the dude credit, he owns both systems and nails it down to honest opinions of sum1 who aint biased. As u can see he never said nuttin bad about the 360, all he was pointing out is if third party devs did take advantage of the ps3 and didnt try an hold back because of the lack of 360's no hard drive in every system, no bluray built in the 360 for games like the ps3 and things like that, u would see alot better games being built. I totally agree with him on most of his point of views and he isnt the only one that thinks resistance is better then gears of war, I am another. RFOM as a whole game and what it has to offer in single player and online is better then gears of war. Anyone who says not please prove me wrong with true facts. My fact is GEOW won GOTY only because nintendo wii and ps3 just launched at the same time with GEOW's release so what does that mean? Yes GEOW had no competition, and lets see or GEOW 2 can take GOTY again this time around with titles like GTA4, MGS4, Fallout, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Spore, Little Big Planet, and other few big titles I may left out. There is my facts why GEOW got GOTY that year and its the truth, there was just no competition out at the time.

Im not saying that GOEW didnt deserve the GOTY. I loved the game, but the online.... lets just say it wasnt the best.*cough*lag*cough* Never finished 1 game.
But the single player was AMAZING! He does bring up valid points... at some times RFOM had alot more enemies in the screen at once then GOEW. But GOEW's cover system rocked..
The only competition GEOW had that year was in the X360 system itself... and GEOW having the best graphics out of all the 360 games, let it fly to the top.

I admire hiphopgamer's courage in putting himself out there like this. It takes a lot to step in front of a camera and lay one's opinion down on the line for dissection by every Joe Schmo on the interwebs.

Still, doing so also opens you up to the opinions of others. So here are few pointers for you. I'll be honest, I stopped watching it early on. While the presentation wasn't necessarily to my liking, I understand that I am most likely not your target audience, so I wouldn't expect you to change such a core element.

However, the real reason I stopped watching is because you lost a lot of credibility when you pronounced LA Noir as "LA Nora", when it's pronounced "LA Nwar". A minor oversight, but it really bugged me. Next, when you moved on to the subject of GTA V you cited comments made by Dan Houser. I'm not sure who Dan Houser is, but Sam Houser is the co-founder and President of Rockstar Games. I'm sure that's who you meant to mention, but if you aren't getting your facts straight, I can't buy in to the rumors you're bringing to your show.

I just figured I'd post some feedback for you. I dunno that I'll tune in for your show on a regular basis, but I didn't want to just flame you. Stick with it. Good luck.

don't do it in front of a black tarp. if you must hang something, use a white sheet or something that won't look as much like you nailed a tarp to a wall.

And practice more. You could probably cut out 25% of the time if you practiced on your delivery.

Also, I don't care about you, I care about games. Voiceovers will do you better in the long run. Get some gameplay movies off the internet or video capture some, go into moviemaker (free) and do ur show that way.

21 - He's one of those Sony fanboys...

He talks that propaganda. His lack of knowledges actually allows him to spew these tainted ideas. For instance he says things like Blu Ray is better quality. Thats not true, it just holds more data its not higher quality data its just more. Then he would have you think that the Ps3 has an advantage because it holds more data...Well the problem with that is the read speeds of the Blu Ray drive in the Ps3 are very low so they have to run it through the Hard drive while the 360 pulls the data straight of the disc and processes it.

Its architecture and remember the when the 360 and Ps3 was compared when they first came out everyone said the 360s architecture was more streamlined. I compare it to guns a Ps3 is like if you had a 6 shooter and a box of 120 bullets, you load it up and shoot, then you reload so you have alot of ammo but your rate of fire is slower. The 360 is like a full auto uzi with a 40 shot clip. Both have there advantages.

I tried to watch your video using the above link but the videos didn't load. However, I did manage to find it on YOUTUBE. Although I could find a lot of things that didn't seem exactly professionsal(true, some things could be fixed and refined). I did enjoy watching your game play and give your commentary and analysis. DONT LET OTHER PEOPLE TELL YOU HOW TO DO YOUR SHOW. There are a lot of unenlightened people that think productions are supposed to run a certain way so that they can fit into the mainstream criteria. What makes your show interesting is that you did it YOUR way and i liked how there was a lot of gameplay footage. I like how you just be your self and analyze the game as YOU percieve it. Don't let peoples negativity bring you down EVER and keep being yourself. That's what the future is anyway. Maybe the neophytes will catch on eventually haha. BTW, Resistance2 is going to blow us away AHA It is going to be CRAZY!

-One more thing. I wouldn't say he's a fanboy, or biased, that is just rediculous. The term biased has many negative connotations. He is just voicing his opinion, commentary, and analysis. Dont let opinionated wanna be knowitalls use their little "words" to bring you down.

LOL Insomniac are revered as one of the best developers in the industry. What great, polished, high selling games has Epic made again before Gears of War? Unreal Tournament?

Resistance 2 is going to be really really good. So is Killzone...even though it may come out in early 2009... there are alot of games coming at the end of 2008.

no i dont think Res 2 will outdo Gears 2, but it will definitley be a great game

Epic or Insomniac? subjective- Epic made Gears and UT which are both great franchises bu aren't very groundbreaking, original OR diverse

Insomniac has made two highly regarded platforming franchises and thrown 2 excellent shooters into the mix

they are both very talented dev companies

GTA 5 might be PS exclusive because of 1) deals with Sony, they have learnt their lesson after MS went around sneaking in deals with R* 2) 360 might be relatively forgotten by that time or a number of other factors

how you doing man god bless and thanks for checking out the show. 1st the ps3 isn't confirmed to have gta5 i said that it might be exclusive because dan houser of rockstar said that they want to make there game bigger and games in general are getting more detailed and bigger and 360 don't have blu-ray or a hard drive, also midway said that if ghostbusters was made only on ps3 then they would have double the amount of action on screen but because it' s multiplat they have to hold back for the sake of both systems. also gta4 on ps3 runs a little smoother than on the 360 that came from alot of sources as well. and gears 1 and resistance 1 you can't really compare 1st person to 3rd person but resistance being a day one title compared to a title that came out a year later. resistance has bigger worlds, more weapons, a better explained story, more enemies, 40 player online, better physics, so to me that results in a better game. gears is great as well perfect 3rd person gameplay hands down and as far as system sellers the resistance 2 trailer alone had over 1 million downloads in one day so people are waiting for this game and yes it will be a system seller. resistance 2 vs gears 2 we have to wait and see but resistance 2 has 60 player online, and much more so it's gonna be interesting to see how it all pans out

They can't give you an official link because there isn't one.

GTA V will not be exclusive to the PS3, just like their next big project LA Noire is not. If they are struggling so bad they seem to be dealing with it enough to keep on making 360 versions. You cannot deny the 360 userbase if you are a 3rd party developer.

It isn't exclusive, the Pstards are jumping to conclusions because of the dvd9 size comment and ignoring where he said they had SEVERAL solutions to the problem. Ps3 doesn't even have LA Noire or Red dead revolver 2 as exclusive anymore. Also Gears 1 DESTROYED Resistance 1 w/ only 4v4 MP while Resistance had 20v20. Quality >>>> Quantity. The first Resistance was generic crap and the 2nd one will be as well. Gears takes R2 and KZ2 at the same time with it's hands behind it's back EASILY.

LOL @ THE POST ABOVE ME. There's a reason Gears 1 MURDERED Resistance 1 in sales and scores by over 10 pts. Gears was an overall better game while Resistance is a generic shooter with a couple cool guns.

Epic are more tech-savy, engine creators than good developers... they have never made anything except Unreal and Gears. Even Ratchet and Clank is a 19 million selling franchises now. Maybe 20 million by now.

Resistance was given over 30 AAA reviews. Yes, it did have some low res textures and Insomniac admitted the controls weren't prefect but it was a launch title. It HAD to release with the console.

Resistance 2 is going to have deffered rendering, high res textures... have a MUCH MUCH bigger single player campaign than gears 2... a full seperate 8 player co-op campaign that's just as big and long as the single player mode and then a huge 60 player online mode.... which you can also play smaller 16 or 32 player games.

Resistance 2 is going to look like that teaser we saw. Gears of War 2 is not going to look anything like that.

Everything this guy is saying is right.
PS3 has the better potential and technology to become the best console ever.
I still can't believe the only thing holding people back from buying a PS3 is the price.
Resistance 2 pwns Gears of War2.
I don't really care cuz I'll own both.
Gears of War 2 for my PC and Resistance 2 obviously for my PS3.
It's true though Microsoft better find some way to make more space on their console or else they are not going to compete this generation at least from using space in games.
Motorstorm 2 is gonna be insane true AAA title and probably the best racing game ever created next to Gran Turismo.
GTA V I believe is gonna be a PS3 Exclusive considering the PS3 is more profitable in the long run and it has sold more world wide than the 360 version.
Iron Man demo was fun I like everything except the cut scenes everything else however was great.
Metal Gear Solid Online is hella fun and I can't wait till June to pick up the limited edition of MGS4.
360 is the now PS3 is the future!

It sold more worldwide? Really do you have any links for that? So far we have 360 winning in the U.S by 2:1, and UK 3:2 and the margin is GROWING since the first day.

For the size issue they said a sentence later they had several ways to get around the problem, also Ps3 dev kits were given out far far before launch and only a couple months after the 360 dev kits. Also you're delusional if you think Sony would advise them to do that, GTA exclusivity would have won the console war for them. They went Multi-Platform because they knew 360 would sell more copies, and either console sells 10x more then enough copies to make a profit from developing for that console.... if anything though they'd go 360 exclusive if they wanted more profit since it's cheaper to develop for and it has twice as many sales.

8 - GTA 5 is coming to XBOX360>>>>>>

20 gig hard drive is goin to be obsolete by the time GTA V comes out...250gig, and 500gigs coming soon. I upgraded to the 120 gig....i think it will be a mandatory download like the ps3 or it maybe downloadable only off XBL...no physical copies for the XBOX360......Besides GTA4 on XBox is out selling the ps3 2 to 1...why lose out on millions.(hundreds of millions at that)

I find that I enjoy Insomniac's creative taste more than Epic's.

The story, weapons, and enemies all seemed more interesting to me.

And, there's usually a LOT more going on at one time, too.
