yeah I noticed that too,I've got both a Ps3 and a 360,and the downloadable content means nothing to me going into Tuesday;
Like,how am I supposed to get excited for something I know nothing about?It literally makes no sense at this point,and to top it all off,the DLC is supposed to be 10hrs only...in a game that has more than 90+hours of gameplay(including side missions and collecting the hidden packages),you can see this 10hrs means nothing.

Anyways,like I've said before,Ps3 version for me,better frame rate+less pop sealed it for me.

and yeh kudos to 360 owners for eventually getting DLC but it wont be free and judging by microsofts price plans in the past im guessing $25-$30

cant wait to see if the DLC lives up to the hype because nobody knows what its gona be or when its released,all we know right now is GTA4 the actual game is here NOW,its framerate and graphics are better on the ps3 so for me i want the more enjoyable experience, why settle for second best thats why i never bought madden.

and giving it a great score because you know there will be updates to fix the problems. There review sounds more like a retrospective 1 as the dlc is nowhere near close and the ps3 will probably get some sort of dlc also. 1up YOU SUCK. Can it be any more apparent that MS's di(k is lodged up 1ups rear end. I know, lets review all games based on whats to be released in the future like map packs and all other unknown, unknown's. YOU SUCK and people are noticing.

DLC is something to brag about, not Achievements!!!! GTA has always had built in achievements in the game. There are always stats. I doubt Achievements will ever be a deciding factor for GTA. DLC, probably yes.

The previous point you mentioned about the sites being biased against the PS3 is so true. 1UP and Gamespot(especially) are two big sites. Sites are getting too presumptuous now-a-days.It's getting sick. It's like they are trying to demote the PS3

and people were picking up stakeloads of the ps3 version, the 360 version was moving a few also dont get me wrong but the overwhelming majority were ps3 versions. Funny thing was i didnt see anybody buying a ps3. Maybe this game would of killed of the 360 but sony's ultimate goal is more about future thinking. All parties should be happy right about now. I suppose only time will tell if this sacrifice or forced decision on sony's part was a masterstroke. If the exclusivity of a future r* game was the reward then it will indeed be a masterstroke especially since sony know it will have enough units out there to support any r* game whenever their next game is released, play chess much sony?

Ill add that people who but games early already own consoles so dont take what I stated the wrong way. Come Tuesday the bundles will roll out, trust me.

That would have been hilarious!!!! If GTA4 would have come out on PS3, 360 would have lost the war already..Although even though I'm a sony fan boy, I'm kind of glad that it came out on both platforms. If 360 would have died sooo early in the battle, we wouldn't have got to see games like Mass effect 3, GoW3 etc

The 360 version is the way to go not only due to the additional content, the 360 superior controller, achievements, Xbox live, and slightly better graphics on the 360. All of this make this game better on Xbox.

I agree, however the majority of reviews so far who at least reviewed both versions all agree that the PS3 version has faster load times, a better frame rate, less pop-ups, and more anti-aliasing for smoother edges.

Of course except kotaku who said the exact opposite.

I guess I would gloat if 95% of multiplatform games were better on the PS3 and then FINALLY one comes that's SLIGHTLY prettier on the 360. Oh, but then again, 360 fans will be gloating when the DLC kicks ass this fall. Not to mention, future updates can fix any slight issues.

The PS3 count is like a three "literally" LOL. I would be happy to if 95% of all my games were subpar to the other guys and finaly one came our way. I'm an Xbox 360 owner, so I fortunantly don't have that little 95% subpar problem.

In a recent interview, I believe in GameInformer, they said that MS will allow the GTA DLC to exceed the normal file size. MS has a case by case policy when determining if something is special enough to warrant exceeding the max. file size for a download - and in this case it does. For 50 million, Rockstar won't give MS crap. The DLC will rule, but that's a long way off. I'm just excited for Tuesday.

SONY is bigger than MS and can play ROCKSTAR an equal amount for DLC

WRONG! COD 4 was the same on both, DMC4 looked better and scored higher on the 360, and GTA 4 looks a little better on the PS3. Most other games like The Orange Box, Assassin's Creed, etc. are better on the 360.

Even if the PS3 version of GTA IV looks and performs slightly better, I'd still rather play the 360 version because of achievements, the superior controller, all of my friends will play it on Live, and the exclusive DLC in the fall. Not to mention, future updates can help any minor issues that either version may have. 360 wins.

Sorry, sorry, I guess I should've put "in my opinion" after the superior controller comment. Yeah, in my opinion (better?), the 360 controller is superior. It's way more ergonomically correct and feels better in the hands. I have never had a Sony console. I can understand why people who are used to using the PS controller for 3 gens now prefer it.

DomUltra, all of the reasons I listed regarding why I would rather have the 360 version over the PS3 version are legitimate. Think about it. Both versions will looks and play incredible. The developers have said that any differences will be very minute. If the PS3 version has less pop-ups and slightly better colors, that is still not enough to make me want to give up several hours of DLC, or playing with my friends on Live, or playing with the controller that feels better to me, or the achievements that offer extra incentive. Plus, thanks to miracles of the Internet, any glitches or pop up problems could be fixed with a future update.

As I have said before, some games will look and run better on the PS3, others (as the overwhelming majority have so far) on the 360. The PS3 version has less pop ups and looks a tad better according to some websites. Congratulations! Go ahead and shout it from the rooftops! After you're done, have fun playing GTA IV on your PS3, and I'll have fun playing it on my 360.

By the way speaking of delusional, anyone who can walk in to any GameStop and see the PS3 and the 360 running side by side, and not notice that the PS3 generally has more jaggies, is just that - delusional.
