A next-gen BG&E would be one of the best things ever. I want this as much as a FF7 remake.

This makes no sense. Yeah Beyond Good and Evil needs a sequel but what makes them think Yoshitaka Amano would have anything to do with it? The first game didn't have anything like his art style and I doubt if they made a sequel that they would redo every character. It would just piss of fans of the first. I wouldn't be surprised to find out they are developing a sequel but i doubt Amano has anything to do with it.

We know that Michel Ancel is working on a "secret project" that some folks think is BG&E2.

So, I played the first one - I didn't finish it because it was unclear what I was supposed to be doing and it got really boring trying to figure it out - lots of people say how awesome it is/was, but they never say much about why. Why was it so great? I'll grant the story, voice-acting, music etc., but the gameplay didn't really get me going.

... I always wanted to play the first game, but when I tried buying it here in Holland, I couldnt find it anywhere anymore.

It would be nice if they'd also do a HD remake of the first game, cause so many people missed it first time round, and you can tell that now many people are very eager to play it...

Just a little thing for Jade Rayman Fans She worked on this game and got to have to name as the main character. So you play as Jade Rayman even though it is a different Jade.

I hope this is true the first was a great gem of a game that many people pasted on and so if this is true I hope people will not pass on it this time around.

I have this game on GameCube. I played it for a bit and really didn't give myself time to get into it. I might have to load it back up sometime soon and play it again to see what all the fuss is about lol. Although I do realise many people praise this game as being one of the best last gen.

I absolutely loved this game from start to finish. I always loved taking pictures of the different creatures especially in the middle of a boss fight :P. One thing they could improve upon IF they make a sequel (hoping they do) is more weapons, fromm what I remember there were only about three weapons that Jade had.

Iv'e got to agree with Bill Gates lol as sometimes even when wanting to find out what happens in a next chapter, a sequel tends to betray all those wonderful experiences you had with the first game.Advent Rising is probably a very good example of a game i would dearly love to see continued yet know would likely be spoiled if handled differently.Another great example is how much Halo2 betrayed what a lot of folks were expecting and same too for Halo3 for those that started with Halo2.Not bad games of course just ones that didn't do what most were expecting from them.All sequels i guess have this same sort of hurdle in some form.

And the idea of anything FF coupled with Beyond would be something of a worry considering BGE's wonderfully french sytle - great big eyes and spiky hair don't somehow fit.Unlikely though i know
