...I think i'd rather take the Home Beta over 10 awesome rock band songs every week. Think about it this way though, if the ENTIRE PSN is down for 15 hours, and not a thing involving Home is included in that, THAT would be more odd. They're gonna HAVE to have an open beta sometime and Sony said they have a huge surprise for us. So this is as good a time as any, seriously. Something about Home has got to be involved in this PSN update, i just hope its the Beta. The only other Huge surprise i can think of is getting the MGSO beta or in-game xmb. Or for me personally, FF7 on the psn store, but i don't think its the last one lol

But there's nothing wrong with being optimistic Darby. I know it probably won't be a Beta, but Sony has gotta be including some Home features in this update

i agree, sure they have got to add the video store or music, or both!!!

I would love it if Home Open Beta came tomorrow but think probably not (although the servers are down for 15 hrs - must be doing a lot of testing on whatever they are adding tomorrow).

I would think that if it was actually going to be the Home beta that they would have released information about it. For as big of a release as Home will be I seriously doubt they will just release it without saying anything.

You know how Sony said before that they could make the PS3 Eyetoy capable of doing that hand-monitor thing from Minority Report? They should have incorperated something like that in the new PSN Store, its the perfect thing to use it in

think HOME will come out this week, as much as I want it too. But, all those who say it cant happen because they havent announced it publicly. Maybe they (Sony) would drop it without notice so their servers dont get over whelmed as much. Sure, news would spread like wild fire, but it would be mainly the harcore gamers who are on the boards at first, while the more casual gamers it will take a bit more time for them to catch on that its out?? Microsoft didnt mention anything about a video store before they dropped it and they still had server problems through the first weekend.

Honestly, if the surprise is a video store, I will be very unimpressed.

The PS Store is down for 15 hours, Sony's probably testing the servers can put up with the extra traffic. I mean a new look 'PS Store', MGO beta and loads of the content will attract loads of traffic at once. Sony probably don't want another delay like GT5P launch in Europe.
