Capcom fails with DMC4. The sales never increased at all for any system with the release of DMC4. The game sold but it did not sell systems.

PSP sales are unbelievable. It keeps outselling the DS for practically no reason. Perhaps the Lite has reached its saturation point after doing 20 Mil in Japan? Likely story. Or UMD is back baby!! Well anyway, DS has Etrian Odyssey 2 coming out and the PSP has The warriors Orochi port. The gap between the sales will most likely be narrowed but not closed given the popularity of Samurai Warriors in Japan. After Nintendogs, Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda, one can only wonder what's left for the DS.

5.2 - I am very surprise that the PS3 number went down
despite DMC4 release in Japan. If anything it should have increase its sales. I know its a slow period. I am starting to wonder if Japan can ever be won and weather other big games like MGS4 will push consoles in Japan.

man. those numbers for all consoles are otroucious for what they normally do.

8.1 - saving?
you really need to get off that boat because its already sank.

maybe your feeble mind hasnt let you know yet but the holiday season ended and ALL consoles dropped in sales. and last time i checked, the ps3 has been outselling the 360.

the only console that needs savin is the one that cant even sell in a month what the ps3 sales in a week. or a console that cant sell anything outside of one region is in trouble. or a console that requires a you to buy a harddrive to just to play online...................AFTER YOU PAY FOR IT OF COURSE.

Yeah the dsl has dropped off, but like soemone said maybe the 20+million is enough in japan. Though when DQIX comes out haha i think tons will sell. As for the wii did well once again and smash just keeps on going though I was expected a bit more then 260k. I was kinda looking for smash to sell 2 mil before it was released in the states. Atleast it should sell 1.5mil beforei t comes to america.
