All things being well in the world of the interweb, PC gamers will be able to download a demo of Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare this Thursday. It should be available around 5pm our time.
It's unknown whether the PC demo will be joined by demos of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the first-person shooter. We've contacted Activision to get an answer to that question and are waiting to hear back.
