PS3 has passed 250 000 units sold in Spain

In reality ps3 has sold over 250k + there and x360 has sold just 100 000 units in 2 years over there.

It's not the brand. I have bought almost every console from the start of videogaming. Even the 2600 from atari ( don't know if you know what it is or ever played it ). Never bought the Xbox or Xbox360, i don't like that consoles. I have bought the Sega Saturn and then the first PS. You must admit that in terms of design and construction the PS brand is superior to the others. Also i like the inovation that PS gives to games in every generation, that's why i choose PS consoles. You can also say that Xbox has it share in the States cause the "brand" is huge in America, it would be a good excuse for what you are saying. People choose what they like to buy because of the games and because of what the consoles can give to them, not because of the brand. My HDTV is Samsung, not Sony...

It goes to show that North America is the only place where PS3 is struggling. PS3 is murdering in Japan(obviously), and have a much larger loyalty base in Europe. All Sony needs to do is continue satisfying Japan and Europe, and drastically make efforts to improve their North American business.

the 360s ONLY main territories is north america. thats it and to keep it in context the wii is most peoples second/third console (especially gamers who have been around the block so to speak) which is definitely not 'next gen'. using the wii to somehow fight the 360's fight seems a bit desperate and definitely a tad old now. i know, lets compare the sales of 911's to ford focus's because that clearly proves that ford is handing porsche's ass's to em. As of now the ps3 sells off brandname. It can have all the high specs in the world but if they can't show and prove those high specs mean nothing. That is why they are being outsold in the US. People just want to play games and so far there hasnt been any amazing next gen game that really pushes ps3 hardware. Xbox has had gears of war and thats when xbox sales really picked up. By the time killzone and Mgs and the really big ps3 games comeout that is when those hardware specs start to become viable.

I'm from Portugal and the same here. PS is the wonder to buy and the lead in terms of sales. I laught when people say that Wii is in shortage lol. Come to Portugal and Buy one and u also can take a X360.
Regarding PES in Europe ? what can i say ? just launch the game and you all will see. Fifa must try harder cause PES is on the rails and it never stops. I know marketing is one good thing to sell but if ou ask your parents, your friends, your grandfather what is he playing, well, most of us in Europe will say PS, even if there are Wii sold. I was about a year collecting money to buy the PS3. It was cheap... and has a Blu-Ray ( I bought 300 finally ehehe. seen it 5 times in Cinema )

Even though PS3 leads 360 in all the smaller countries the difference is low right now, but 360 has been out a year earlier. So when this generation is over PS3 should have a several million unit lead in all those territorries. And in Japan it should have a 15-20 million unit lead and in Europe it should have a 5-10 million unit lead. In America they should be tied.

There will be no more 360 anywhere in mainland Europe after this Xmas.
Pro Evo bundle, R&C, Uncharted, GT5P (which will outsell Forza 2 - and it's not even the proper game!).
Hell, FIFA sold more on PS3 in most Euro countries, despite 360 being out longer. Obviously the PES pack will sell hundreds of thousands.

Halo has no effect, Gears has more effect but that was last year, and H3 and Gears have been bundled cheaply with 360 in Spain for ages, but still no sales. 360 has been at 300 Euros for months, like in germany, but it still can't outsell the more expensive PS3. LOL! And now it's too late!!!

All this fanboy stuff (on both ends) are annoying. Though I will be getting a ps3 and not an xbox ... they have good games on the xbox (no one can not admit that) but all this talk about one system killing the other is annoying. Though the ps3 will outsell the 360 in the long run, I have no doubt about that. The gap will be smaller by next year. Nothing wrong with the 360 .. it just doesn't have the market and recognition that sony has.

I don't believe 360 is so strong in US, it was there before PS3. Between the PS2 and the 360, people PS2 cause there was more sales. About the numbers of sales, PS3 sold mostly more than XBush for the 1st year. Anx X was alone, and sold so few console, if it was not MS the owner they where already backrupt, cause they spend already 1 billion on Red ring of death. No compagny can hold that.
