"More graphically impressive games than ever on their way to PS3" - Textures require only two SPEs

President and founder of Allegorithmic shares his views on PS3 graphics. According to him, "Gamers will be seeing more graphically impressive games than ever" with the new ProfX. He further states that "A very cool side effect of the PS3's architecture is that ProFX should be able to continuously stream textures -- using one or two SPUs to compute the textures to be given to the GPU to be displayed, that's a huge bonus for adding rich content to games without having to stream that content from the BluRay or overloading the sole GPU of the machine."

Step 3 of 3 – The News Post
This is where you will be creating the actual news post. Start with typing in a Story Title. The story title should ALWAYS be the same as the headline of the story you link to. So do not edit the original title or create your own headlines unless the original doesn’t make any sense when posted on N4G. Also please remove any exclamation marks from the headline if any.
----------------------------- --------------

Hey M3rcnary the original title of this article is "Graphics, Games, and Multi-core". That title makes sense to me. How come you altered it if the N4G guidelines say to never alter it if the original title makes sense on N4G???

How come the same rules for everybody else don't apply to you??

Armyless6092d ago (Edited 6092d ago )

Thank you! Bubblz :D

Bloodmask6092d ago (Edited 6092d ago )

I edited my post. It just makes me angry sometimes. Because the rules apply to some people but not others.

I have posted many articles on this site and bc of personal bias of other people they do not get approved. But this does.

Armyless6092d ago

the industry forums seem to be overrun with pre-pubescent loudmouths. Relax, we're the ones spending money, we rule this roost. (hehehe even if we disagree on consoles)

TriggerHappy6092d ago (Edited 6092d ago )

It does apply to me however, I am not the first person to alter a title so why are you picking on me ? How about the rest of the other guys that changed titles but you chose not to complain about them ?

If you would report every other person that changes their title, then you reporting this story would be appropriate.

Furthermore, the quote which was used for the title was directly taken from the article, it aint like am making it up .

here is an example if you really want..

http://www.n4g.com/industry...
Original title = "Podcast Beyond, Episode 9"

Change to = "Universal May Go With Blu-ray & More News on IGN PS3 Podcast"

PS:drtysouf21, I dont mean to pick on you, am just trying to get my point accross.

Please if you are going to report me or or anything, just make sure you are doing the same thing for everyone.

Regards

He wrote that title to show the blind xflops like you that the PS3 is the real deal. Coventional hardware has never worked in gaming from dreamcast, to gamecube, and to xbox. Even Wii has trouble, but luckly Nintendo made a system that sells itself.

CaliGamer6091d ago

You have changed titles of articles too, but yours never got approved so it just seems like sour grapes that you didn't get away with it and he did.

Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell Of Ar Ciel Retro Review – Love Conquers All

Gary Green said: You’ll be forgiven if you haven’t heard of the Ar Tonelico trilogy. The previous two games arrived so late in the PS2’s life-cycle that they simply went unnoticed. While most were tinkering with their shiny new PS3s, Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia and Ar Tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica were being ‘returned to sender’ by your local Game stores. Luckily, you won’t need to have played them to understand and appreciate this third and final chapter, Qoga (pronounced k-yoga) tells the story of a racial war between humans and Reyvateils, a breed of biologically produced female cyborgs capable of reproduction, while still having a digital mind.

Oh my god. I kinda wish this would get a remaster on PS5, it would be awesome. One of my favorite games on PS3.

That and 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's a shame that some stuff is stuck on PS3.

Knightofelemia17m ago

Ar Tonelico 3 is good I still prefer the first AT game. The music is solid in all the games and Akiko Shikata is a very talented singer bringing life to the game. Only annoying part is well I find is Saki I always choose Finnel or Tyria. KOEI so needs to HD remaster the franchise along with Ar Nosurge and Ciel Nosurge since it never came to North America. I would day one the Ar Toneliceo games and Ar Nosurge if they were remastered.
