Hearst Buys UGO

Hearst today announced they are finalizing a two year deal to acquire one of the web's leading men's lifestyle and video game portals, UGO.com. The deal, estimated to be worth $100 Million, is the media giant's first step into the online entertainment space.

"With an audience of over 11 million unique visitors in the U.S. and nearly 28 million worldwide, UGO reaches one in 10 online users in the highly coveted male 18-to-34-year-old demographic."

Some of the major UGO network affiliate sites include GWN.com, and top 250 site FileFactory.com.
