PSN is better than XBL; I know bots claim that xbl is better, but they offer up pretty much the exact same thing except PSN is free for everyone, and Free is always better. XBL has one thing cross game chating and that doesn't interest me at all, I actually use the mic to communicate with the people I'm playing games with. Oh and a majority of my friends usually play the same games so I'm already on with the people I want to talk to anyway.

TheXgamerLive5133d ago

sorry, but you get what you pay for. This isn't me trying to be funny either, you get a free service in psn and that's great and soon sony's going to be selling a premium service so it can afford to try and match Xbox Live. Xbox Live is leaps and bounds better than psn. The feeling you get when you go on LIVE tells you that in the first 3 seconds, not to mention the awesomeness of the servers and the free features you get it's hella great. $4 a month is nothing compared to what you get from it.

Foliage5133d ago

In other words XGamer... you have absolutely no reason besides being biased to think live is better. You've mentioned absolutely nothing... the Servers? Really? Dedicated Servers are better than P2P by a mile.... only in your world. Show me a 360 game without lag with 32...64...128...256 players... yeah... STFU.

The truth is that you think "you get what you pay for" holds true, because Microsoft nickels and dimes their customers to death.

I guess you paid for RROD... that makes you pretty dumb.

PSN is great and it's free. No thanks on that offer

vhero5133d ago (Edited 5133d ago )

Exactly free and its got 200% of the features as its includes a web broswer meaning it in theory can do a lot more. Can you post to myspace on your 360? No. Can you post to Bebo on your 360? No.. Can you buy on Ebay on your 360? NO!!! You can on PS3 :). Best of all? No subscription fee for these features.. MS charges you a fee just to use facebook on 360.. I mean I dont use myspace/Bebo etc.. but I mean millions of people do prefer them over facebook and PS3 gives you the choice. Not to mention PS3 has youtube video uploading 360 does not.

pixelsword5133d ago

It's just easier to hook-up with friends/clan members. It's not a deal-breaker that the PSN doesn't have it, but if you are very social online, it will be a tool you'd like to use.

Persistantthug5133d ago

It most certainly did.

I know the browser could use some work/updating...but you can't deny that being able to do stuff like that for free compared to having to pay for it is much more attractive.

All we need is Hulu to come back :)

"the costs of LIVE are overbearing and add up big time in the long run"

overbearing?? It can regularly be found for $35 but even at it's MSRP of $50 a year I don't see how that can be considered overbearing. If that amount of money is way too much for you, it might be better you get a second job than spend time playing video games. I pay double that each month for my phone. 3x's that a month for car insurance. Half that in 1 trip to the movies and about that one time going out to eat. And mind you this is $50 a YEAR, not a week or a month. Saying the cost of Live is too much is such a weak argument.

Persistantthug5133d ago

It is a major advertised feature and that won't change.

What Sony will likely charge for are OTHER premium services (Notice I highlighted OTHER because PS3 has had "Pay" premium services for years now.)......I'm guessing their catalog of music, movies, TV, and games...something like a Netflix service. I'd potentially be willing to pay $100-$150 per year for something like that.

If its pro 360 HHG uses "nice,ok,good, interesting " but if it was vice versa i wonder how the tittle would be.. mmmmm

Sony Willing to let Microsoft use the godly PSN and taste the future to create gaming history! but can 360 run PSN?

ArcFatalix5134d ago

You dont have any clue about PSN, the only thing it lacks is a proper invite system and cross chat, the online gaming is clearly superior on PSN than LIVE, Games dont lag much on PSN and its capable of supporting 256 players that we have yet to see on LIVE.

Cueil5134d ago

you are truely ignorant... PSN doesn't "allow 256 players" the servers and the game allow it... could Microsoft create a game with dedicated servers that could run 256 players... yes... is there a reason? No

Absolut_Turkey5133d ago

you are truly ignorant, and ungodly pale (seriously go outside for a few minutes and get some sun). PSN is the platform that allows the "servers and the game" to accommodate 256 players. Could Microsoft create a game with 256 players? No! Because Microsoft doesn't create games. You should try thinking before you post. And for the love of god get a tan. There's a reason why someone as "smart" as you spent money on a video game console that STILL has over a 50% fail rate.

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

LG_Fox_Brazil3d ago

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai3d ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing692d ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle2d ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal2d ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

DaReapa2d ago

No. Square Enix owns the IP.

Abnor_Mal2d ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

*As per Wikipedia

boing12d ago (Edited 2d ago )

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.
