Mike Kebby writes:

"Hello, hello.

It feels like it's been ages since I was last on here. How you all doing? I'm back, my feet are under the table again, and I'm dug in for the long haul. It feels good to be here again

We have a new batch of special offers available this week, with the mini title Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam joining the fun. This is the first mini title joining the special offers section, and marks the first of many that will be making an appearance over the coming weeks and months."

Anyone know when FirstPlay kicks off in the UK?

ScarT5158d ago

Where is it? The only thing that's holding me off of trading in Heavy Rain.

Lucreto5158d ago

@Shadow Flare

I am wait for it as well. I did see one of my friends in the Beta for it and he never PM back when I asked about it.

Shadow Flare5158d ago

Yeah, the only dates i've seen are that its officially set for spring, though I have seen march being thrown about. I was hoping it was launching this week. Hopefully it won't be long

WTF no PS3 demos at all =(

drdre745158d ago

damn this is a suck booty week. Oh well back to god of war 3 then. I think PS3 is gonna be dead for awhile since Heavy Rain and FF13 and God of war are all out.

What is really annoying is than the Dragon Age expansion is 40 euros and only available throught PSN. The retail version on the 360 is about 30 euros online. I thought the digital is meant to be cheaper.

WTF EA, what do you think you are doing?

PSN £31.99
Play.com/GAME (360) £24.99
Play.com/GAME (PC) £14.99

Doesn't seem to be that bad of a month. Got a bit of something for everyone.

Please do not support braid anniversary edition. Don't support Phil phish, he's a very despicable person, a a cry baby.

One example

Wrong developer. Phil Phish was the developer behind Fez.

Jonathan Blow was behind Braid. If you're gonna cancel culture, don't take down the wrong indie...

TimeShift - FPS Game Standing the Test of Time

TimeShift had a fairly muted launch in 2007, and while it doesn't rewrite the FPS rulebook it does offer an enjoyable campaign even now.

I played this on PC when it came out, it was actually good

Astrokis9h ago

Same! For its time I liked it a lot

Never heard of this game until someone mentioned it here last year. Played it and it basically represents most games from the PS3/Xbox360 era—good graphics, amazing physics, and extremely fun gameplay (time powers rock), but barely any story, weird pacing, and at least one annoying AF level. I finished Prototype last week and the same applies, except Strike Teams. Fuck Strike Teams.

I miss when ganes used to experiment with physics and world interaction

Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell Of Ar Ciel Retro Review – Love Conquers All

Gary Green said: You’ll be forgiven if you haven’t heard of the Ar Tonelico trilogy. The previous two games arrived so late in the PS2’s life-cycle that they simply went unnoticed. While most were tinkering with their shiny new PS3s, Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia and Ar Tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica were being ‘returned to sender’ by your local Game stores. Luckily, you won’t need to have played them to understand and appreciate this third and final chapter, Qoga (pronounced k-yoga) tells the story of a racial war between humans and Reyvateils, a breed of biologically produced female cyborgs capable of reproduction, while still having a digital mind.

Oh my god. I kinda wish this would get a remaster on PS5, it would be awesome. One of my favorite games on PS3.

That and 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's a shame that some stuff is stuck on PS3.

Ar Tonelico 3 is good I still prefer the first AT game. The music is solid in all the games and Akiko Shikata is a very talented singer bringing life to the game. Only annoying part is well I find is Saki I always choose Finnel or Tyria. KOEI so needs to HD remaster the franchise along with Ar Nosurge and Ciel Nosurge since it never came to North America. I would day one the Ar Toneliceo games and Ar Nosurge if they were remastered.

I still have the limited edition of Qoga unopened. Unfortunately it never went up in value like I had hoped all these years.

Used to own all these quirky JRPG on ps3 good times. Wish I would have kept them all
