New 'Assist Trophies" in Smash Bros allow favourite characters to appear

The Smash Bros website has just updated explaining about a new item called 'assist trophies'. these are basically poke balls but summon up other characters instead and the site even says "You may even see some that only the most dedicated fans will recognize, so you'll have to look forward to them."
