Nintendo explains what the biggest misconception about the Wii is.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Nintendo has announced the SNES and Super Famicom games gracing the Nintendo Switch Online library this month, and there are some gems to enjoy.
Strange headline, as I thought the star of the show was Super RType. I almost bought RType Dimensions EX this last month and was just thinking, man I wish we had the SNES one somewhere on Switch. That's where I got my start w the series and I was beyond excited to see it drop this week!
Following the Wii U and 3DS servers being taken offline, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Ghosts are officially dead.
Sure there are a few hardcore titles for the Wii, and I enjoy those :)
But they're just not as frequent as those of the 360, PS3 etc.
I could name tons of hardcore Wii games that I'm interested in. And I even feel Nintendo is bringing more core titles to the Wii. Just look at what they have in store over the next few months. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, Sin and Punishment: Star Successor are going to be great. Then there are games like Red Steel 2 and Monster Hunter 3 from third-parties.
Sorry Nintendo I don't see enough games on your console that appeal to me. When I made the decision to buy a console I looked at the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 but the Wii had the least titles that intrigued me. It's a good and innovative console but other than Nintendo I see few other developers producing good hardcore games for the console. It's found it's market with casual, family and young gamers but until it gets more quality 3rd party support I feel it will continue to struggle to establish itself in the hardcore gamer market. I don't think this is Nintendo or the consoles fault it is a fault of the games industry as a whole which as failed to embrace it as a serious gamers machine. It's a real shame because I have never played a Zelda game, which is probably the only great game franchise that I have never played that appeals to me.
That's it's good?
Nothing coming out in the future and nothing that has been released. Games that interest me are on the PS3 and that is why I purchased a PS3. Nintendo does not cater to my needs at all.
EDIT: I don't understand how can anyone disagree with what I said. It's like I say that I don't like the color "red" and someone says...yes you do. WTF people?
