Gamestooge calls March 2010 "the biggest month in the history of the PlayStation 3's history, aside from the launch," which will influence the PS3's future prospects.
Excerpt: "For starters, two potential system sellers will be hitting: God of War III and Final Fantasy XIII. Despite the latter's multiplatform status, it's a game that drives sales on the Sony platform. Yakuza 3, a AAA title in Japan – albeit currently in its fourth iteration there - could make serious waves in North America. If that weren't enough, Episodes from Liberty City makes its debut, though its probable it won't make much of an impact nearly two years after Grand Theft Auto IV's release. Expected to make waves is the next version of GameStooge's 2009 Sports Game of the Year, MLB 10: The Show, as well as Battlefield Bad Company 2, the Awakening expansion for Dragon Age: Origins and Resonance of Fate."
The Opening Levels that hooked gamers from the outset.
While FFVII ranks highly, there's more to the series than one game. Here's Chit Hot's picks for the seven best Final Fantasy characters.
Cultured Vultures: In the spirit of preserving some kind of history of this industry, we’ve decided to list some of the best games that you just simply can’t get hold of digitally at the minute.
I just started playing Spec op. I've had it for years on steam and forgot about it. Such a good game.
Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.
Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.
wow...I have all of them except the Nintendo ones either in physical or digital version.
Also..Deadpool the Game is missing on that list.
Too many good PS3 games in March! My money goes towards GoW3 first and then probably FFXIII and B:BC2
Yakuza was junk ass bunk garbage. It was absolute ballz. Humiliating to be honest... Insulting to anyone with an IQ in the double digits. I love this part, though.
"I want to buy your night club... How's 300 million dollars?"
That is the most absurd line I've ever heard in a video game. 300 million dollars for a 1 1/2 story night club with no one in it. Just so he could have a base of operation??? That is so absurd. Games can't compete in Hollywood because their scripts suck donkey n*ts.
Don't get me started on the shoddy graphics and lame stiff gameplay. The game looked like it was 480P. Then again, it is sega.
GOW3 might do well but I still don't see the fanbase coming out in pre order form yet... Remember part 2? Remember how it had like 3 million preorders 3 months before release... I don't see that with Part 3 and I think it could under preform. I hope not but we'll see.
not only is it a big month for sony when it comes to games like gow3,yakuza,mlb10,etc,but it is also the same month that sony shows the motion controller at GDC.
it would be safe to say we will see a couple of things there at GDC leading up to E3 with 3D games, motion and other surprises from sony.
march:BIG month for sony.
well im getting Yazuka 3 and God of War 3 ( i tried the Yakuza 3 demo and loved it ) God of War 3 needs no demo to impressed me at all lol
